Freeze-Dried is the process of removing 97% the water from a fruit via sublimation. Fresh fruit is deeply frozen, and held there for 24 hours. The frozen fruit is then put into a Freeze Drying chamber, where the water is removed under high pressure (no heat involved). The water goes from a solid to a gas, bypassing the liquid step. (Example: Dry Ice)
- Freeze-Dried is the healthiest way to deliver shelf stable fruits
- Freeze-Dried is light and crispy, not hard or chewy. It's easy to eat
- Freeze-Dried pricing has become a viable alternative to traditional dried fruit
- Freeze-Dried products have the potential of a multi-year shelf-life

The apple cinnamon flavor is by far the best, and the apple melts in your mouth. There is no sugar added, and each bag has approximately 1.5 apples in it. I go on a biweekly basis now and by two 12-count boxes at a time.
Who thought freeze-dried fruit could taste so delicious?
Perfect, healthy, organic snack. Will never go back!
I was disappointed that these freeze dried pieces weren't crunchy like the those in bags I get at the local natural foods store that are more like thick potato chips in apple cinnamon flavors. Instead, these crisps had a texture of a combination of packing foam and cardboard. For this reason, I won't be buying this brand again.

These are sooooo wonderful! At first, you can't eat just one pouch of the fruit crisps because they are so good. I can eat "just one" now. Read morePublished 3 days ago by ADC

I like these are just apples no added sugar or preservatives which is hard to find. These are thicker and more fluffy dry than thin and crispy. Read morePublished 18 days ago by Jen
