IN A RECKLESS MOMENT
Cassandra's sleep is interrupted by the return of her brother and Ross's voices singing bawdy songs that certainly weren't meant for a lady to hear. The men are obviously inebriated but she doesn't grow concerned until the singing stops and she hears a thud and a low curse. When she opens the door to check on them, Timothy is passed out in a sitting position outside his own bedroom with Ross trying unsuccessfully to rouse him. They manage to get Timothy to his bed and then Ross admits that he can't remember which guest room is his. Cassandra makes the offer to escort him to his room so that he doesn't end up climbing into bed with her very formidable aunt. From a maidenly point of view, that offer of assistance may turn out to be a mistake. As she's getting ready to leave him to ready himself for bed, Ross requests that she kiss him good night and she finds that she can't deny him the request and soon doesn't want to deny him or the pleasures that they'll both find in his bed. Will they come to regret the results of their reckless moment?

IN A RECKLESS MOMENT is the third story in Emma Wildes' BROTHERS OF THE ABSINTHE CLUB. This storyline is full of all the loveable characters, passion and suspense that I've come to eagerly anticipate about this series. I adored Cassandra because she is so different from society ladies. She's extremely intelligent and honest, not to mention beautiful. With the combination of those traits she manages to snare Ross's affection and keep him firmly enthralled with her. Ross has been living the `privileged' lifestyle for so long he doesn't even see how self-indulgent and jaded it is until after he marries Cassandra. There's just a little issue from his past poses a threat and I have to admit, I was fascinated by that twist to the storyline.

A MOST SCANDALOUS POSITION
Colin's been taken in by a beautiful woman once before and he has no intention of being hurt in such a manner again. Catherine (or Kate as he's come to call her since he doesn't know her true identity) has no interest in marrying. Unbeknownst to him, she's a heiress and simply needs to come of age to receive her inheritance from her aunt who is caring for it. That however could prove to be tricky since she and her son Charles are determined that Kate marry him and then he'd have control of her funds and possess the woman he's become obsessive over and they're willing to do whatever they have to in order to obtain their goal. Will Colin be able to save Kate from her deranged family? And what about the ever growing feelings he's developing for her?

A SCANDALOUS POSITION is the forth story in Emma Wildes' BROTHERS OF THE ABSINTHE CLUB series. Chock full of mysteries, torrid romances, unforgettable characters this is a series you'll fall in love with and eagerly devour each new addition. In A SCANDALOUS POSITION readers are presented with Colin's tale of how he rescued a lovely young woman from a raging river and she in turn seduces him and gives him a reason to give love another chance. They're a delightfully fun and wicked couple that you just can't help but adore.

This entire series is absolutely wickedly delightful. There's just something about a group of men sitting around `gossiping' that I found charming and really enjoyed. But more than that, I love how the subject matter they're reminiscing about gives you an inside look at their individual personalities and their love lives.

In a Reckless Moment is Ross Benson's tale beginning with a single kiss from Cassandra Rollins which leads to a reckless moment of passion for them both.

A Most Scandalous Position is Colin Maxim's daring rescue tale of beautiful Catherine Drury and her exaggerated loss of memory leading to scandal and danger.

Beautiful Assassin is Jonas Maxim's final tale which begins with the murderous intent of the delicately pretty Marianne Glass and her drive to make him pay for seducing her sister.

These sexy tales are definitely three of my favorites from Emma Wildes.
Each is a treasure and I just can't pick a favorite one.
