I just was turned on to Keven Devine the other day and love his music! Powerful lyrics and great music! Must buy!

After being a fan of and listening to Kevin Devine's earlier albums over the past few years, Brother's Blood was a welcomed release from this NY born and raised Indie Rock Artist. Tracks: All Of Everything Erased, Carnival, Another Bag of Bones (which I was looking forward to hearing most after seeing Devine perform this track live on several occasions;), Brother's Blood, and It's Only Your Life are all distinctly 'KD-style' and positively stand out on this reviewer's playlist. The album does not present as an overly studio-mastered sound; You will hear a couple of gritty tracks that sound as if they were recorded in your friend's basement on a reel-to-reel deck. Touring with singers like Jesse Lacey (lead singer of Brand New), bands like the Manchester Orchestra and his own The Goddamn Band seem to all influence the sounds on this album. If you enjoy hearing the music of these bands, you won't be disappointed by Kevin Devine's, Brother's Blood. KD continues to impress with his sincerity and sound.

His amazing way to get right into his listeners hearts has come again in Brother's Blood. His best work yet, Devine will entice listeners with amazing lyrics and vocals. His unknownness to the general public is quite sad, because if more people listened to K Dev, people would find out what true music indie rock is!
