no matter what the jackson southernaires put out, it is going to be inspiring, motivational, and uplifting, this is just a blessed group of men that are sent by god.

THIS VIDEO, "THE BROTHER'S DREAM ALIVE" IS ONE OF THE MOST ANOINTED AND INSPIRING VIDEOS OF ALL TIME...YOU CAN FEEL THE ANOINTING FROM THE VERY BEGINNING....THE ANOINTING IS ESPECIALLY PRESENT IN THE SONGS "WITH MY WHOLE HEART" AND "MEETING"....HUEY AND THE GROUP TEACH US ABOUT "TRUE" BROTHERLY LOVE AND FAMILY BOND....

I THANK GOD FOR ALL THE QUARTETS, SOLOISTS AND CHOIRS AROUND THE WORLD...FOR SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF JESUS....WE NEED HIS WORD...BECAUSE WE ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS...WE NEED THIS ENCOURAGEMENT AND GUIDANCE...

I have been following the Jackson Southernaires for a long time. Their singing is very uplifting. Whenever I am feeling defeated, I usually put on one of their CDs. If you are looking for a spiritual blessing, the Jackson Southernaires will certainly uplift your spirit. All gospel singers are not anointed, they should be named the Anointed Jackson Southernaires.

Great music! Good performance in front of a live audience at Jackson State University. Well produced and the sound is extraordinary. Music has changed over the past 15 years due to death, band member changes, etc. I recommend this DVD to anyone looking for good inspirational gospel music. To my ears however, nothing replaces the singing and worship of the old-timers like the late Frank Williams, Slim Hunt, and Willie Banks. They knew how to get it done. All in all though, this is a good project. I will order again. Bill Scoggins South Carolina

This was a Mother's Day present this past year. My mom has many of the Southernaires cassette tapes and as a child, I attended quite a few of their concerts in nearby towns. They always could get the church folks into a lively mood with their upbeat songs and a lot of tears were shed form their depper and slower songs! My mom has never had a DVD of them and greatly enjoys seeing them again! She said the performances are very powerful and makes her feel like she is in an old-fashioned, tear the church down...whooping, running and shouting service!

THIS ONE WITH THE ADDITION OF NEW SONGS, PUT AN UPDATED FEEL ON SOME OFTHE OLDER MATERIAL THEY RECORDED ON THIS LIVE PROJECT.THIS IS THE BEST RELEASE SINCE FRANK'S DEATH IN MY OPINION .
