Brothers Of The Southland - self-titled (Zoho Music),
By
This review is from: Brothers of the Southland (Audio CD)
Decent modern day southern rock, but personally I liked the similar release that Zoho Music put out around the same time - the self-titled Rufus Huff CD {see my review} a bit better. Tracks I dug the most were both versions of their Marshall Tucker Band's "Can't You See", the band's namesake "Brothers Of The Southland", Greg Allman's "Dreams", "Love Don't Care" and the catchy "Pray For Me". Check out the impressive line-up: Bo Bice-guitar & vocals, Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie)-sax, harmonica & vocals, Jay Boy Adams-lead guitar, Henry Paul (Outlaws)-guitar, mandolin & vocals, Steve Grisham-guitar & vocals, Mike Brignardello-bass and Steve Gorman-drums. Listen to the provided sound clips and take it from there.
