This mix is very tasty. We tried it using an egg and some melted butter (alternative to water only). The pancakes have a really intriguing taste by themselves, and are quite tasty cold as a snack. Our usual addition to pancakes is to heat (microwave) some Brown Family Farm maple syrup with our favorite berries in it (I like blueberries, my wife like cranberries). However, we think with the taste of these, they're better with plain maple syrup. An amazing improvement upon any other premixed pancake - either dry mix or ready-to-cook. And don't even compare toaster pancakes - blech!

This is sooo easy to use. It tastes good and doesn't contain all of the crazy preservatives that other mixes contain. We've tried other brands but they taste too "grainy"(for lack of a better word). Other brands just didn't taste like pancakes too us and the kids wouldn't finish eating them. With this brand they keep asking for more.
