Before I purchased this portfolio, I had been using a Mead composition book for all my notes. Once I make it through half the book, the cover looks pretty shabby. I would walk into meetings with papers stuffed into my comp book, looking messy and disorganized. I needed something a little more professional looking.

This leather portfolio immediately helped. I purchased the brown leather version. The leather is good quality, smooth to the touch, the stitching is neat and the portfolio is well constructed.

In this portfolio, I typically have a letter sized note pad for my to-do lists, and my Mead Composition book. The back cover of the comp book slides into a slot on the side, holding it in place.

There is a slot on the side which I can slide loose papers in, or I can leave them sandwiched between the note pad and comp book. The portfolio expands to hold quite a few papers. I zip up the zipper, it immediately looks neat and tidy, and I know that my papers won't be bent or slide out unexpectedly.

I would definitely recommend this product and Amerileather. I have purchased a couple of other Amerileather products and the quality so far has been good and the delivery has been very speedy.

I had been looking for an item like this for sometime. The portfolio I had been using was old leather, but starting to crack. The new portfolio is soft, good looking, and will accommodate two or three folders. This allows me to file my medical records, and travel information at the same time.

I have purchased both the black and the brown leather portfolios from Amerileather. I should note that they are not the same portfolios in different colors. The brown leather portfolio is more rugged, and it has flaps/pockets on each outside panel. Both the black and the brown leather portfolios have white stitching, which may be a concern for those interested in the black leather portfolio. The construction of the brown leather portfolio is sturdy, the leather is rugged like belting leather, and I believe that I can carry this portfolio for ten years.

This is a great portfolio. Very sturdy and large enough to carry a book or pamphlets inside. Would have given five stars if it had more room for pens. Only has one holder on the outside. Two would have been better, or an entire pocket also.

The product is good quality and fairly priced. The shipping service was fine and without delay. My only issue is that this was a gift to be shipped directly to the recipient. There was no provision for inserting a note or otherwise identifying the product as a gift. The details of the purchase were included on an invoice that shipped with the gift. That is regrettable, otherwise, this was a typically fine Amazon experience.

I purchased these items as Christmas gifts. Hopefully, the recipients will like them and they will want to keep them. It wasn't until after I made my purchase that I discovered that the seller charges a "restocking fee" for returns. No company that wants to be in the business of internet sales should charge that type of fee. I will not make another purchase from them for that reason alone. Imagine if you will taking a present back to the store and they charge you a "restocking fee" to put it back on the shelf. Would you shop at that store again?

Amazon is great. Amerileather? Bah Humbug!!!!
