These crackers are crunchy with a mild rice and subtle sesame taste. They contain NO OIL like some other brands of rice crackers. (Oil seems to add a stale or off taste, or maybe it's just that the oil is rancid?)
These rice snaps are plain and unsalted and as such go well with any number of cheeses, nut butters, coconut butter, sliced deli meats, and anything else you can think of! Note that all the other Edward & Sons rice snaps are made with both brown AND white rice flour. This is the only one that is made from brown rice flour alone. As a result, it has a better texture and a much better flavor.
As per the objection of one reviewer that the crackers are erroneously advertised as gluten free (but manufactured in a facility that also produces wheat-containing foods), I am non-celiac but extremely gluten intolerant and have had no symptoms like I would surely get if they were contaminated with gluten (even a small amount). Nevertheless, for those who are diagnosed celiac, caution is advised.
A great cracker that amazon cannot seem to keep in stock, even though the Edward and Sons web site always has them listed for sale ...

Amazon shipping was fast. This is a great snack. The carckers were not stale very fresh

I love these crackers. My daughter is allergic to wheat and the crackers are a wonderful alternative. We use them with Hummus or goat cheese. In fact, they are good with all kinds of gourmet cheeses for parties too!

I am on a strict diet that does not allow me to eat anything that contains gluten, corn or potatoes. I can have rice, but products made with rice almost always contain an ingredient that I can't have for some reason; not these. The only ingredients are brown rice and sesame seeds! I was so excited to finally find a crunchy, delicious snack that I could eat while on my diet. They taste great by themselves and even better with some kind of salsa or other dip. I will probably buy the 12 pack from Amazon because it is a good value.

Just right for dipping salty hummus, dips, or salsas. Lots of crunch (snap) and no added salt.

Please stop listing these crackers as gluten-free in the product search. They are not gluten-free it is stated as such in the item description...These crackers are produced in a shared facility and shared equipment as other products containing wheat! Thus, they can't be 100% gluten-free as required by a strict gluten-free diet. If you're a celiac please take note of the following from the item description:

"Safety Information
For our customers with sensitivity to wheat or gluten, no wheat is used as an ingredient in this product. However this Brown Rice Snaps variety is produced in a facility that may manufacture other products which do contain wheat."

This should not be listed as gluten-free.
It should be listed as wheat-free only.
