This knife has been on Amazon for quite some time so I can't understand why I'm the first reviewer of it. The Victorinox Fibrox 7" Granton Edge Santoku is a best seller and comparable to this knife but also is much more expensive. My friend has the Victorinox and we are both avid cooks so we did a side by side comparison prepping dinner and these knives are similar in style and we both felt the Browne-Halco handle slightly better for gripping during heavy use. It is a commercial grade NSF knife so nothing very fancy but neither is the Victorinox. The blade is X50 CrMo V 15 steel so it should hold up for some time especially for home use with only occasional steelin. It simply cannot be beat for the price. Great deal for sure.
