3.0 out of 5 stars Better name would be "A Legal Guide to...", January 27, 2007

This review is from: Brownfields: A Comprehensive Guide to Redeveloping Contaminated Property (Paperback)
Contary to the title, this book is not comprehensive. It is well written but covers mainly legal aspects of brownfield redevelopment. Biophysical elements are covered only very briefly. About half of the book is a listing of state by state regulations related to brownfield development, making the book much longer, but adding little to its value for individual users, who are likely to work mainly in a single state. Thus, about half of the book is of very limited use to the average reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Truly Helpful Guide to Redeveloping Brownfields, April 19, 2009
This review is from: Brownfields: A Comprehensive Guide to Redeveloping Contaminated Property (Paperback)
This book is PACKED with extraordinarily helpful information and is truly comprehensive. The book gives a detailed overview of the entire process for redeveloping brownfields, and detailed procedural information covering every state where a project may be located. From my perspective, the book provides an invaluable guide for anyone looking to undertake a brownfield project. Highly reccomended! I understand f.y.i. it is the American Bar Association's Best Selling Book.
