I am very happy with this chair and the manufacture description is very accurate. It handles 300# with no problems and the chair is comfortable and easy to get out of. The back is high, the seat is deep and does not sit low to the ground. It is so much more comfortable than a lawn chair could ever be. I have spent hours at a time sitting in this chair and it is an outstanding product.

Have been using this chair for about a week now. Great fold up chair and light weight. Definitely made for camping and small spaces. If you are looking for a sturdy fold up light weight chair, well here it is. I have had the fold up chairs that you carry in a bag, hands down this chair wins. The backing and bottom of the chair are mesh so you get air circulation, which is good when you are out camping in the summer. Has a cup holder as well, great for bottled water.

Needed a new camping chair. I was tired of getting the usual $10 special and replacing it every year or sooner.

After careful consideration and research, I decided to get one of these and I'm quite happy I did.

It folds up nicely, is pretty comfy for a camp chair, and is well constructed.


My only real "complaint" is the location of the cup holder, which you can see on the front right leg of the chair in the product image. I'm more used to it being part of the arm, and highly accessible. With this chair, it sits to the side. Not a big deal, hence the quotes around complaint above, but will take some getting used to.

Setting it up is as quick or quicker than your typical fold out, once you take getting it out of the bag into consideration. By the time someone gets theirs out of the bag, unfolded and ready to go, I'm already kicked back and watching.

All around it's a good investment that should easily pay for itself as compared to buying a lot of the cheap ones.

I bought this chair for use during our kids sporting events. Past folding chairs with the canvas sling seats and the criss cross legs (you know the type) didn't hold up. This one is very sturdy and seems to be good quality. It is alittle heavy, and doesn't fold up thin enough to put in a tubular storage bag. It is, however, very comfortable. The arm rests are covered with a black neoprene foam product (similar to a/c tubing insulation). The underside of one arm rest is starting to rip (received this way out of the box), so I don't know how long these pads will last once my kids start pulling at them. Other than that, a nice chair.

I liked the camp chair very much. It has a solid feel. It is not flimsy. It is perfect for queen or plus-sized women such as myself. I would definitely recommend it albeit it is not exactly a lightweight, backpacking kind of camp chair.

This is a well made, sturdy camp chair. It offers good back support and has great stability. It folds up easily and is surprisingly light considering its size.

The Browning Camping char is very, very sturdy, but do not expect to take it on a backpacking trip. Even folded, it is large and heavy.

A few notes on my experiences with these chairs:

- Avoid keeping it near a campfire because the materials used will easily melt if even a small ember touches the chair.
- I was hoping that the mesh used in the seat would dry quickly. While it does not allow puddles of water to form, it does have a tendency to store water for quite a long time after rain.
- The cup holder is fairly useless. Even if you have a container that will fit, it is likely to be at enough of an angle that it will spill some if close to full. The location is also somewhat inconvenient.
- The arms of the chair are covered in high density foam. This type of foam tends to age quickly and will likely not last more than a few years.
- The chair was easily able to comfortably hold some very large (~350 lbs) friends of mine. I would be surprised if anyone capable of going camping stressed the chair.

For a 300 lb guy, this chair is perfect and comfortable. You don't "sink" in it and its easy to get out of with the strong arms. Also, a big plus is the arms are coated with neoprene so your sweat won't rust the thing. The only problem I had was that the metal where the pieces come together was a bit bent so I just had to bend them to fit better. Good chair and would recommend to anyone big who wants a chair to last.

Very nice chair, good quality and sits higher then some of the others we have purchased. The chair did arrive with some scratches in the finish of the arm but I am not sure if this was damage caused in packing or if it was damaged before it was packed. It wasn't bad enough to go through the trouble of returning.

I am a big guy. The seat is strung like a piano string. Some cushioning is definitely required for me. Prepare to sit at attention, it is not a sit back and relax chair IMO. The build quality is very good. Top dollar for a chair I really don`t like.
