I have tested many headlamp units and have found that this unit will cast the most light by far.
It projects a large rectangular beam which makes nightime tasks much easier.
The Red/Blue settings cast enough light to maneuver in the dark but not scare game.
Battery life is outstanding on this unit.
The tilting head is great for working in the dark, changing a tire or looking under the hood and keeping my hands free to work.Browning has done it again and designed a product that exceeded my expectations.

Excellent brightness. The Blue light works great for blood trailing and moving around camp/cabin without disturbing others. You could use the Red light for moving around also. Doesn't slip around your head while in use like other models I have tried, and the hat attachment works just as well. I really like the individual light selector and seperate on/off switch. You select which light you want to use and then turn it on/off as needed. The other model I have, you have to cycle through the different light settings with the on/off switch. I highly recommend this light to anyone that spends any amount of time in the outdoors.

Ok the energizer led headlamps are great for hunters, but I lost mine and chose the nitro. This things is great and has green, red, and two white lights. It's about the same as the energizers in the sense of brightness. Then you have the spotlight, literally. This is almost as bright as 18v battery pack lights. Perfect for hunters and fisherman.

Got this headlamp for Christmas and I love it! The light has 5 settings, super high beam, regular beam, green beam and a red beam. Its amazing how much light this things puts out with the use of only one battery. Can't wait to use it in the woods.

After countless fishing/hunting trips with my friends, whom have their own headlamps, I thought it was time I found my own. So after a few weeks of reading reviews and taking the pros and the cons of my friends lamps, I came across this beauty. (Both my friends now want to purchase this same lamp) But aside from the knob which allows you to select the light setting without cycling through them all, and aside from the great head strap that holds like a champ, the thing I found most impressive was how BRIGHT this light actually is. I can't really put it into words, let's just say I am still seeing spots!! So you're just going to have to trust me and see for yourself!! You won't be disappointed!!

I bought this to replace my Remington head lamp for walking into and out of the woods during darkness. I mainly use the red function. Two properties of this light are better than the Remington. First, the on/off switch is separate from the light mode selector. The selector can be left in the position required instead of pressing one button several times to toggle through the various modes. The second thing I like is that it accepts a single CR123A battery. This allows the light to be smaller and lighter.

I own 3 of these because they are easy to fit, easy to use, bright as can be...by far the best lamp we have tried and we have tried a lot of different kinds. My husband wouldn't order one like this because he likes an additional strap over his head. He didn't think it would be secure enough. THEN he tried mine and that is when I ordered 2 more. He loves it. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent product. You'll never be in the dark with this headlamp. The brightness and options are awesome. For the price, it can't be beat. It is very very bright! I recommend this to any hunter or outdoorsman.

I own 3-4 headlamps, but this is by far my favorite. It's one of the brightest (110 lumens) headlamps I've found. I use it for hunting and night time biking (trails) through the woods. I like the dial (4 light settings) and the separate on/off switch. It's fantastic, well worth the money.

I used the Nitro Headlamp for my morning walk out and coming back from evening hunts and have to say that the different options from the two colored lights to the white "dim" (yeah right) and bright light were great. I was able to use the blue light to walk on the trails without any problems and ended up using the dim white light also, as for the bright light I still don't know what to use it for as the light is just sooo bright. The Square beam of both white light were a conversation piece (how do they make it do that?) and are cool while walking on roads as everything is visible. I used it for 5 mornings and evenings including around camp and never replaced the Battery. I Highly recommend this lamp.
