4.0 out of 5 stars Family Through It All, August 29, 2007
This review is from: Brown's Possession...A Family's Progression (Paperback)
Brown's Possession...a Family's Progression, Book III of Black's Trilogy, is full of emotions. Each character coming to the realization of who they are and what they mean to the people around them, is displayed in this final chapter of the trilogy. Is it really possible for one woman (Cinnamon) to love two men (William Brown, her husband and Malcolm Black, her lover) and still have more love to share with others?

Brown realized that even though he inadvertently pushed Cinnamon and Black together, he was not truly ready for what happened, Cinnamon loving someone just as much as she loved him. Seeing that he pushed this because he was being selfish--he loved his wife, had his mistress, and did not have to pretend to be interested in the things that were important to his wife. Reality set in and he began to have mixed feelings, and attempted to make things as normal as possible, but first he had to realize it is not always about him.

The time had finally come for Brown, Cinnamon and Black to decide which way their love would go from here on in. Could they all live in perfect harmony or would they all have to go their separate ways?

She has done it again. acVernon Menchan has provided us, her readers, with a different look at the many different areas of love. The way to show how much you love someone is by being unselfish and giving of yourself freely. These characters are memorable and believable. I regret knowing that this is the final book in this trilogy; I would love to be invited into their lives again. The message in this book was delivered loud and clear, however, there were a few flaws in the editing. It did not make or break the story. I recommend to everyone these awesome books. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
