This review is from: Bruce Coville's Book of Spine Tinglers II: More Tales to Make You Shiver (Coville Anthologies) (Paperback)
The second-to-last book in a series of sci-fi/horror anthologies, it is a powerful book, very thought-provoking. Their is another chapter to "The Monsters of Morley Manor," and my personal favorites; "The Ragmore Beast," a terrifying tale of a giant beast stalking and hunting a put-down boy named Ricky; "Biology 205," about a dissection in a Biology class-you are in for a suprise in the end of this one!; "All in good time," a well-written story about a Jewish girl suddenly knowing the truth about her family's history, and at the same time trying to save her beloved Grandfather. Will she succeed? You will have to find out for yourself. "The Instrument" is about an instrument with music so pure, it blocks out everything. Is this good or bad...? And my final favorite, "The Packet," about a girl and a mysterious packet with a more mysterious creature inside it...
Go on and read this wonderful collection of Sci-Fi/Horror/Fantasy with authors like Ray Bradbury, Bruce Coville, Neal Shusterman, William Sleator, and many more. Just read it with the lights on...and with a friend...
