Our 3 1/2 year old loves all the Bruder trucks. They may be made out of plastic but, they are still very tuff. Our son sits on them without any problems. We love the detail of all of vehicles. It makes learning about heavy equipment fun. All of the vehicles have working parts and Bruder's attention to detail is unsurpassed. The small details adds intererst and play time longevity to the toys. Our son plays with them every day and knows the difference between quaility constructed toys and cheap toys. The wheels get pulled off of other brand trucks and put into the dump truck bed of the Brueder. Brueder is the only brand that we will buy! These are not flawed third world country plastic toys. All parts are made and assembled in Germany! The cement mixer is next on his wish list.

Purchased this for a 3 1/2 year old boy. Was hesitant about buying any large, plastic truck, but we did not see any alternatives at the time we purchased this. We should have stuck with our instinct. When it arrived, we were immediately struck by the fact that the plastic seemed flimsy, and that many small plastic pieces that are attached to the grader appeared and felt so cheap and flimsy that we doubted they would survive 5 minutes of play, in our humble opinion. We were not going to wait to find out, and we decided to send this back. You can get a STEEL Tonka 18" grader off of ebay for less than what Amazon is asking for this plastic thing. That's exactly what we did. Good luck!

This is a great toy with a lot of working features (which the equivalant Tonka toy doesn't have). This is a cool toy to play with at the beach, and won't end up rusting from exposure to the salt water and air. Its size is probably one of its best features, and with all the adjustment options wou can "engineer" several different road profiles. I have pretty much all the Bruder Cat equipment and everyone who sees them in my Man Cave marvels over the details and want to play with them. So far all the models have survived the all handling by the "adult kids"..."

We bought this grader for my son's 4th birthday. We already have a Bruder tractor and bulldozer so I knew the quality of their toys. I was not dissapointed. This road grader was bigger than I expected, has many moving/removable parts and was my son's favorite birthday present. I highly recommend the brand, but especially this grader.

We bought this for our 5 year old grandson who loves it! It will take a beating but I think the toy is up to the challenge! Thank you, Amazon, for sending this product so quickly and in perfect shape for gift-giving.

My son has been asking for a grader since he saw one in action. This is by far the most realistic and functional one I have found. The plastic is just fine. Would metal be better, sure, but it would cost twice as much

This toy is extrememely well made, but a little confusing to a very small child unless they are taught what the real equipment does. However, it will challenge their minds and help create interesting projects while exercising their imagination.

This was bought for our Grandson age 2, he absolutely adores construction/tractor vehicles. For his B-day we had a large pile of topsoil brought in and then gave him different vehicles to use in it. He loves this grader, probably because it's one of the largest but also because of the things it does. It had popped apart in areas (we just popped it back together) but he is a very active boy so we expected some wear. It was well worth buying for us just because of his pleasure of playing with it.

I bought this toy for my Grandson as he loves construction items.
It is very educational and built well. I couldn't find it in any store. Thank you Amazon.

This CAT road grader arrived in great condition. My 4 yr absolutely loves it! Some of the plastic (like the mirrors) seems a little thin or flimsy for the size of the toy but still a great toy as toy graders are extremely hard to find.
