5.0 out of 5 stars Everything Popping (token787)
Yes, Bruised and Bruised 2 was nice, everything was poppin in this book, for u to really get a good understanding of the book, u should read both books and feel the full effect. This was a good book, someone recommended it to me and now I can't believe I'm just now reading it. I just hate how certain things happen to some of the characters and how it ended, but it's a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Lost in Love
In the follow-up sequel to Bruised by Azarel, Carlie is trying to pick up the pieces to her puzzled life and make some changes for the better. Even though this is a sequel it was written well enough to be considered a stand alone. I was given enough information with flashbacks and memories to bring me upto speed with Carlie and her love life.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lost in Love, October 20, 2008
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
In the follow-up sequel to Bruised by Azarel, Carlie is trying to pick up the pieces to her puzzled life and make some changes for the better. Even though this is a sequel it was written well enough to be considered a stand alone. I was given enough information with flashbacks and memories to bring me upto speed with Carlie and her love life.

Carlie is now a famous lawyer, having experienced love with Devon a thugged-out drug dealer, Carlie, is ready to turn over a new leaf. Kirk used to be Devon's right-hand man but when the tables were turned and Devon went to jail, Kirk made every attempt to help heal Carlie's broken heart. Where Devon was manipulative, forceful, and violent, Kirk was the exact opposite, but Kirk did not fulfill Carlie, sexually or mentally the way Devon did.

Now Carlie has picked up the pieces of her heart and has her career underway, when she is working on a high profile case, Devon's mysteriously appeared, and Kirk has a side piece that is trying to kill her. Will the drama ever cease? Can Carlie learn from her past mistakes and leave Devon alone, even though after five years away he still has her heart?
Will Devon seek revenge on Kirk for stealing his girlfriend? Who is this woman that is trying to kill Carlie? And will she succeed. Stay tuned this book is drama-filled, from beginning to end.

I recommend this book to readers who are looking for a little excitement and a lot of suspense. Hold on to your seats because you will not believe who comes out on top.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why Oh Why, March 13, 2008
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
The ending of part one made me curious of the second book because the first one ended in a way that didn't suggest that a second one was needed. Anyway, this book was just as frustrating as the other one. I can't believe that she made Kirk out to be a complete and utter jerk. The character China was good, but was disappointing to me. There was a lot of untold story in this book as well. When I finished reading it I threw my book across the room and I wondered why I even wasted 2 days on reading it. The ended was a complete disappointment, especially what happened to Devon. I didn't like the guy, but he didn't have to go out like that.

If your thinking about reading this book, don't waste your time. You'll be better off thinking that Kirk and Carlie left to live a nice and happy life together instead of the wreck of a relationship that they have in part two.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pay Back Is A Mutha, November 24, 2006
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
Carlie is still clueless when it come to the men in her life, but will she ever get what is due unto her.... Or should we call it The Ultimate Revenge....on all the men who wronged her. You'll have to read the book to find that our. Azarel has done it again with this sequel. As the pages turn so will the game, or will Rickey save the day once again... 3.0 out of 5 stars Thanks for ruining the ENDING!!!, November 29, 2007
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the book OVERALL. But the people on here take it upon thenselves to ruin the ending of the book!!! I was half way through it. When writing a review, please don't give away the ENDING!! It is so unfair for those of us, who read the review to get a vibe for what everyone else thought!!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, March 12, 2007
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
Azarel has done it again! This book was awesome. I can not believe the twists and turns of this book. I finished it in a day. I couldn't stop reading it. This book was filled with action and drama. You must read "Bruised" first to get the connection of what is going on in this book. Once you read this book you will want to buy every book by this author. I can't wait to read something new from this author. Happy reading!

2.0 out of 5 stars No part 3 needed!, February 1, 2012
This review is from: Bruised 2: The Ultimate Revenge (Paperback)
Bruised 2 is worse than Bruised 1. Its a good story but the author made it drag. Sadly to say the best part was the end when Carlie decides to kidnap her ex baby...let it end at that. No need for a part 3 ..

I really enjoyed Bruised. I was looking forward to reading Bruised2. But one of the reviewers has ruined it for me by telling what happens at the end of the book. You can tell how much you enjoy the book without telling people the story!
