Great looking boot..., March 2, 2010
Purchased the black model boot, which looks and feels more like a suede in my eyes. Very lightweight for a Bruno boot. At first glance the Brontolone looks like any other ankle boot out of the box until you put it on. The side elastic bands make for an easy on/off, and like most Bruno's, the fit and finish is superb. Snug, yet completely relaxed on your feet. I'm not much of a rubber sole shoe person myself, but I have to admit this Bruno is extremely comfortable, albeit a little narrow. Leather finish as I stated before is immaculate, nicely stitched with no superfluous design tags anywhere. Best worn with casual slacks or dark denim jeans IMO. After a couple wears this boot completely and naturally conforms to your feet. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates Italian craftsmanship and a forward designed casual boot. Only downside I see so far is keeping it clean, trashing shoes is something I don't do, and this black finish will show every spec of dirt and debris, so be prepared to gently clean these off after every use.
