Better then a home stove burner???,

With a freshly calibrated thermometer (32 degrees using ice water) i got a pot (7 1/4" diameter by 3 1/4" tall) filled with 48oz (6 cups) of water (2" of water) at 50 degrees F to a 200 degree F boil in a time of 5:49 (five minuets forty nine seconds)
The unit was on high using a 16oz/454 gram Brunton Bruntane canister (tank was at outside temperature of 50 degrees F left out over night, the night before) Cooks food as if you were using a home gas stove... (boiled macaroni with a cook time of 9-11 minutes in just a little over 9 minutes) Cools to the touch in minuets (even if you scarf your food and are ready to take off with in five minuets the stove should be cool to the touch) The stove is great... i didn't get it from amazon, but at a retail store. Truly a great product! |
