I recently purchased this stove after doing some homework online. The Brunton products always seemed to be at the front of the pack so I went with a Brunton product. I have no regrets. This stove is great. It weighs a minimal amount and packs very neatly in its case to the underside of a ISOButane canister. I bought it for the purpose of using it on a 48hr adventure race in January. With Indiana winters came subzero temperatures (-15 with windchill) for the event and the stove worked flawlessly for fixing hot meals and thawing frozen water supplies very quickly and effeciently on the trail. Great product, I would recommend to anyone.

Here is a stove that will do more than just heat some water. The burner is big enough, and ajustable enough, that it spreads the heat out on the pan. You can really cook a meal,without continually moving the food in and out of the hot spot in the middle. It's also consurvative on fuel. I use the larger Brunton fuel canisters because I have found that with any liquid to gas fuel the larger the container the more eficiant it is. These canisters also have a gage on the side, dribble a small amount of hot water over it and you know how much fuel you have left. It also folds up small and fits in the concave in the bottom of the canister, where it is protected. I keep mine in the cook pot.

I purchased the Brunton Flex after pouring through reviews and completing a ton of online research. I have used the product several times over the past none months and I could not be more satisfied with the purchase. I also made sure to get the brunton cook-set so that it fits into once nice piece. The stove cooks and boils water amazingly fast and everybody is always impressed with the power that it produces.
