Beat headlamp on the market,

I use headlamps for cross country skiing in the winter and bike riding in early spring and fall. For many years I used Petzl headlamps. Then 3 or 4 years ago I purchased a Brunton L3 3 watt headlamp. The reach of this headlamp on the trail was well over 50 yards. Then the following year I took the leap and purchased a L5 5 watt head lamp. I now own 2 of these. They light the trail out 250-300 feet. At about 25-30 feet the beam is about 30 feet wide. For the weight of this system you will not find a brighter headlamp. With the battery fully charges I have used the headlamp on full power for over 6 hours with no decrease of power. Brunton claims the battery life is over 200 hours on low power and I would have to believe it.
If you do any kind of recreation activities at night, this is the headlamp to buy. |
