Very thin bottomed, tends to heat up very quickly. Great for boiling water in. Frying up eggs is a different story. Just make sure you have a controllable heat source as you need to be finicky with the heat due to the thinness. The plastic handle is a bit shaky, doesn't feel that sturdy when grabbing on to the pot when it is filled with water, although in its defense, it did hold that hot pot of water all on its own. Also the handle will melt if left on a hot pot for too long. I'd like to see the pot holder made out of some sort of metal that is insulated where you grip it. Packs down small- I fit my brunton stove, a can of fuel, the fuel can stabilizer legs, and assorted spices in a plastic bag all inside the unit. Snugged everything down with a rubber band on the outside. Overall i would say it is nice and lightweight and perfect for one or two people. Anything more than that and you're pushing it.

I looked everywhere for a nice cookset that didn't weigh too much but was still big enough to be usable and found some nice MSR stuff and nice Brunton stuff among other brands, but the thing that sold me was the non-stick coating. When I'm camping, the last thing I want to be doing is scrubbing burnt-on food out of my cookset. This set worked great! I went camping with 2 other people for 4 days and they each brought various cooksets. By the third day, mine was getting more use than the others. Clean up is easy, and they pack together nicely so as to not take up much space. I also have the Brunton Raptor cookstove (Which is AWESOME by the way.) and it works great with this cookset and stores inside when not in use along with the handle for the cookset. The set comes with a nylon case that keeps it all together and is not really necessary, but it is a nice touch. I highly recomend this cookset to anyone.

Great little set so far. Non stick is nice to have..no more scrubbin stainless, or Titanium....just add a little water and wipe em out! The pans seem thin at first, but not as bad as ultralight titanium. I didn't burn anything, but it's all about heat control anyway. I love the contoured bottoms...I found myself not having to dig out food from the corners while stirring. Makes a nice ultralight set if you leave out the outer pan, and their funky stuff sack? About the outer pan...it does not have the non stick. (I don't see how people can write a bad review about being surprised and disappointed about that...it says it right in the product description) The Fry pan/lid worked good for small baking jobs too....I cooked a few small instant biscuits at super low simmer....(you gotta press em kinda thin, but they cooked through nicely) I didn't find any issues with the plastic pot grab....it's light weight, and doesn't scratch the non stick coating. I lined the smaller pan with my small camp towel, then threw in a small gas canister, my stove (Optimus Crux), the pot grabber, the gas can stabilizer, a lighter, and two small nalgenes of salt n pepper !! then folded the towel up and over, and set the upside down fry pan over everything...Nice !! The set doesn't seem too heavy with the outer pan and stuff sack either...I'll try that later, on a longer trip. This set is probably not the best out there, but I didn't shop around too much either, and so far, It's better than my old MSR set, and the pots nest a lot better too!! I find this set a nice compromise between super small ultralight, and the thicker heavier nonsticks like GSI. I give this set a thumbs up.
