These rare earth type magnets are pretty strong for their size ... strong enough that they can be loaded up with several key rings without falling off or sliding down, but not so strong that they're difficult to remove from the fridge.

Minor nit: I wish the hooks themselves were slightly narrower, because they're a little wide for some rings, and I also wish they were a tad longer, so they could hold more and thereby take fuller advantage of the magnet's strength. With a slightly narrower and longer hook, and a magnet that was slightly wider, they'd be almost PERFECT.

In any case, despite these minor nits, they're still the best I've found so far (as of this writing anyway). I've since thrown away all my other hook magnets, and replaced them with these, exclusively.

I have search endlessly for good, strong magnets to hold up heavier items, and these are them. The hooks are a little small, but work fine. The magnets are super strong! Good magnets for the price.

These magnets are strong. They are strong enough to hold up my potholders with no trouble at all.

The hooks are a little on the small side, so a different potholder (or other items) may or may not fit.

These are small (~2 cm in diameter, with a 1 cm x 1.5 cm hook; the magnet itself is only 1 cm in diameter.), and I wouldn't call them "super strong," but they are indeed strong for their size. I use them on the fridge for kitchen towels, and unless I forcefully jam the towel down on the hook, the unit stays in place. The brushed metal is not unattractive, as these things go, although it looks a little out of place on the white fridge.

The magnets are very strong in terms of pulling them off the metal surface.

Unfortunately, they did not work well for my purpose: hanging a picture frame. My frame is an 8x11 docuement with a simple frame, but it takes three magnets together to hold it up without sliding downwards.

These compact magnets sound too good to be true and do actually look nice in-person, but they don't hold the weight. I wanted to hang hot mits on my fridge, but it took some finagling to get it to stay and I could only put one mit per hook.

These hooks are nice but small -- 1" in diameter, which was difficult to tell from the photo provided. They weren't strong enough to use in the kitchen to hang oven mitts off of the refrigerator. I'm not sure what they would be useful for. They're attractive on the front side, but on the back, the magnet is very cheaply glued on.

Small magnetic hooks are perfect for hanging my pot holders on the fridge and I don't have to worry about putting a hole in the wall or damaging the paint with a nail or a hook. The picture is "zoomed-in" though... be aware that the round part of the magnet is about the size of a nickel. Very strong magnet though! Great buy : )

I thought this would have a nice size magnet (the size of the round back of the hook) on the back of hook or the hook itself was magnetic but it's not. It's got very little, about a 1/4 size of a magnet glued on back of the hook. Some of them were not even glued on center. Besides that, I like the design and size.

I was very disappointed in these. The magnets are extremely weak. Don't purchase these if you need to hang anything heavier than a single key.
