I ordered this book for my 17 month-old daughter. I wish that the board book version was still available because she is a little rough with paperback books still. The pictures are cute, and the rhymes flow well for the most part. My daughter gets excited about this book and says "brushing teeth" when she sees it on the floor or shelf. I ordered this book in hopes that it would help explain why mommy needs to help with teeth brushing, and while there is one picture of a mom helping the little girl, it's a very small part of the book. So far teeth brushing hasn't gotten any easier, but my daugther does like looking at the pictures. This would be a good book for a 2 or 3 year-old, but not so great for a 1 1/2 year-old.

When I bought this book off Amazon, I was afraid it might be too advanced for my two year old (given the publisher's age recommendation). But it's actually perfect for toddlers.

The photos are kid-friendly and the rhyming text is pretty simple. We learn how to brush in pretty good detail (for how long, with what, why it's important to let mom or dad brush our teeth, etc.), we also learn a bit about eating mostly healthy foods for the sake of our teeth, and that it's important to visit the dentist once a year.

This book actually made my daughter excited to go to the dentist! (Although this is not the focus of the book at all.) She's been a more cooperative brusher since we started reading this book, also.

Written as a "how to" but could have been better as a story to help kids relate better to why they should brush. For photos it's a cute book, for story there's not so much.

Would be better in board book format, but my daughter likes the book.... more than brushing her teeth unfortunately.

The sticker chart is great and finally got my 3-year-old excited about brushing her teeth! These books are nothing fancy, but they're cheap enough that you can't go wrong.

This is a solid book, including stickers and a chart that you can use to mark down when you've brushed for the dedicated 2 minutes. My 2-year old isn't ready to brush ALL by herself, but she brushes a bit and then mommy or daddy complete it. 2 minutes feels like forever...

Lots of fun - my toddler loves this book. I personalized and copied the chart in the back and bought new stickers since it took several charts to really get things going. Nice photos and text.
