Delivery and Packaging
Whenever possible, Brussels Bonsai avoids using Styrofoam-popcorn packaging. In some cases, Styrofoam popcorn must be used to safely pack unusually shaped plants. Organic popcorn packaging made from corn starch reacts with moisture from some plants and can dissolve.
When you receive your tree, place the box in a shaded area to unpack. Inspect your bamboo for damage.
Plant Care
Placement
To display, simply secure the canes in the decorative rock and fill the container with water. Select a spot with good air circulation, but avoid cold drafts, drying heat vents, and appliances with heat exhausts. Though bamboo thrive in all light conditions, avoid placing them in direct sunlight.
Watering
Clean water is an essential ingredient in good bamboo care. Keep your plant healthy by regularly replacing the water in its container.
The Story of Brussel's Bonsai Nursery
When Brussel Martin was five years old, he was instantly captivated by several bonsai his father brought back from a California business trip. As a teenager, he began to seriously study the art of bonsai. What started as an artistic endeavor in his parents' backyard quickly grew into a business. In the 1970s, he began selling bonsai through the mail and traveling to shows across the country. By the early '80s, he was making annual buying trips to Asia.
As the business has grown, so has his desire to introduce bonsai to more and more Americans. Brussels now offers a full range of bonsai trees, from modestly priced bonsai for the beginner to unique specimens styled by bonsai experts.

Not worth it,

The picture is an exaggeration. You get a skinny stalk of bamboo. The unit comes disassembled..you have to set it up.I have seen better specimens for half the price at the grocery store.

Disappointed..,
This review is from: Brussel's DT0137LB5C Lucky Bamboo Plant (Lawn & Patio)
The bamboo looks nothing like the picture. I received a yellow, already dying plant. When I complained I was sent a new plant free of charge. However, this one came even worse than the first. I had to throw half of it out because it was already dead. I am trying to salvage what remains and nurse it back to health. So far it isn't looking promising. I will not be buying plants online anymore!

At a lot of asian grocery stores they sell bamboo alone for really cheap. Bamboo is like the 2nd fastest growing plant in the world (next to seaweed). Its better to see these things in person before buying anyways. Size and shape vary, and packaging tend to be harsh on plants
