The tree is lovely and has many branches to train and many buds, and was a good price. The subject I want to complain about is how it was packed for shipping: The potting dish sat in a styrofoam base which held the tree up fairly well and then the box was stuffed with "peanuts". However, the dish was not secured to the box and neither was the tree! Knowing how the mail deliverers handle packages, I'm not surprised that five WHOLE branches had been broken off because the tree bounced against the sides and most likely the top of the box!! There MUST be a better way to ship live plants! Valerie Foyle

I bought this for my mother for mother's day, and she loved it! She said it arrived in great condition and with instructions and everything she needed. The shipping was really fast. The tree seems to have arrived in perfect condition, she mentioned a couple of leaves had fallen off, but that the flower was intact. It's been about 2 months now, and the now wants to have more bonsai trees as a result. Great buy for a great price!

The Chinese Fringe Flower produces beautiful pink fringed flower several times throughout the year. The Chinese Fringe Flower requires good indirect sunlight and is best suited for patios or areas in front of a large window that gets good light. The Fringe Flower likes watering conditions on the dry side. Watering should be done through the foliage and around the base of the plant. The Chinese Fringe Flower can withstand temperatures down to 32 degrees F.

When this arrived it looked a little beat up but I thought maybe the little tree would rally with some water and light. I had gotten it as a birthday gift for my mother. Before I could present the bonsai to her four days later it had died. Very disappointing.

I had planned to present this flowering bonsai to the doctors and hospital staff who preformed and cared for me during a major surgery. When it arrived it was a wilted, brown and broken mess. Totally unpresentable. It appeared to me and to my wife (a master gardener) that the plant possibly had been subjected to freezing temperatures along with some rough handling. With dead blooms and brownish tone (lacking the rich green in the leaves) its future is very uncertain. I have a digital image of the plant as it looked upon arrival before it was to be transfered to the hospital and is available if a way to send. This is certainly not the quality I have come to expect of an Amazon product. Richard Wilson, Ph.D.

Nice looking when we received it. We tried to follow the watering, placement instructions, but it died after about 2 weeks.

I was worried about shipping safely etc. but it arrived in great shape. It was a gift, and I followed up with the recipient today to see if the plant is still doing well. It is. I am happy. Thank you

There was no instruction on how to take care of the bonsai after you receive it. I didn't know if I should take it out of the box right away, or what. It didn't say anything about watering...As a result, I left it in the box it came in, and I think it would have been better if I had taken it out right away. By the time I gave it as a gift, all of the flowers on the plant had fallen off. So it didn't look that good anymore.

The tree was delivered quickly and was packaged very well. It looks exactly like it does in the picture and is exactly as described in description.

The product was of great quality and the shipping was more than reasonable. I would order from this vendor again. I must admit I was a little skeptical as to whether or not the plant would survive the shipping process, considering when it took a day or two longer than I expected. But the tree arrived in good health and none the worse for wear, it is currently doing well and it has been over a week. A day or two after the I received the bonsai it began to lose some leaves and I was afraid it might go south, but it pulled through (no thanks to me but thanks to a friend with a green thumb). I still would use this vendor again as the price of the tree was outstanding.
