Brussel's Ixora Paradise Indoor Bonsai Tree

I have had my tree for three days and three buds have bloomed. Its beautiful! I also called Brussel's Bonsai and spoke to a horticulturalist who suggested to soak the plant for 30 minutes in a pot of water. Then test with say a stick to determine the soils water content; when it is almost dry then to water it again. Hope this helps.

LOVE IT, BOUGHT TWO BOTH ARE IN THIER 3RD MONTH, HAVENT LOST A SINGLE LEAF. I DO SUGGEST (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) THAT YOU PLACE THE TREE IN A WATER HOLDING CONTAINER THAT WAY IT NEVER DRIES UP. IM AMMAZED AT HOW MUCH WATER THE TREES WILL ABSORB IN A DAY, KEEP CONTAINERS WITH WATER IN THEM AT ALL TIMES. I ALSO WATER MY TREES WITH A SPRAYBOTTLE IT WORKS.

So Amazon sent me a replacement....

Now you might be thinking it must be me (not taking care of it correctly), however I purchased "Brussel's Jade Indoor Bonsai Tree" last December 2004 and it is still alive and happy.

We followed the directions on this plant, but it had a slow death. People said it would take some time to adapt, so we cared for it but it never seemed to adapt. It finally did die after the Amazon 30 day warranty. Now we are stuck with a dead plant and a pot. We'd love to try a replacment plant if Amazon is up for sending one.
