5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Rock 'n' Roll CD of All Time
First, any one who thinks Marilyn Manson is somehow hardcore, or in any way extreme, I would suggest you stop reading now, because you are not ready for G.G. Allin.

Second, as this CD shows, the alleged Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland will never have any validity until it devotes fully 90% of its space to the great G.G. Allin.

G.G. Allin is not the best...

1.0 out of 5 stars GGs WORST!
The guys voice sounds like a monster. Actually he sounds pretty funny on this album. Check out carnival of excess. His best album is called VIOLENT BEATINGS. It's not as popular as this one. GG your stupid!

While you wild free expression of punk rock and it's attitude will be missed, you definitely will not be.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Rock 'n' Roll CD of All Time, September 30, 1998

First, any one who thinks Marilyn Manson is somehow hardcore, or in any way extreme, I would suggest you stop reading now, because you are not ready for G.G. Allin.

Second, as this CD shows, the alleged Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland will never have any validity until it devotes fully 90% of its space to the great G.G. Allin.

G.G. Allin is not the best rock 'n' roller, he is the only rock 'n' roller, and "Brutality and Bloodshed" is his best and final CD. Heck, sometimes it's almost too extreme for me. For example, check out "Highest Power." Whew!

Everything on the CD--all fifteen tracks--are strong. My favorites are "Shoot Knife Strangle Beat and Crucify" (featuring one of G.G.'s best vocals), "I Kill Everything I F***," which really takes a unique view of the AIDS thing, "Terror In America," featuring one of the best guitar breaks you'll ever hear, and, finally, the title track, with its doomsday lyrics coupled with the sweetest guitar William Weber ever played.

If you like good music, you will love this. I guarantee it. END

5.0 out of 5 stars I know where you can get this album..., October 6, 2003
This review is from: Brutality & Bloodshed for All (Audio CD)
This album is out of stock at Amazon, but I looked at the G.G. Allin official site and you can get it for 15 dollars including shipping and handling. You have to send Merle a money order.

Anyway, since Amazon never has it in stock, I thought that might be helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Perfection, September 28, 2002
This review is from: Brutality & Bloodshed for All (Audio CD)
Obviously, those of a sick and depraved nature are more likely to appreciate this which is nothing short of a masterpiece, as opposed to those who conform to their robotic, conservative, punk-rock lifestyle or those that are wimpy and squeamish with no sense of humor and weak hearted in general. This was GG's best album and the growl in his voice was fitting for the rawness and unrelenting power found in the first tune to the very last on this CD. Regardless what it's labeled as, I just see it as Rock N Roll and just the way I like it. If it's to disturbing to you, then there's always Avril Lavigne *Chuckle*

5.0 out of 5 stars The ONLY Punk Rock Album!!!, February 12, 2002
This review is from: Brutality & Bloodshed for All (Audio CD)
To begin with I will say that this is the GREATEST PUNK ROCK album ever made! That is a bold statement, so let me explain...

GG ALLIN, as you probably know, was one of the few in Rock'n'Roll who practiced what they preached. He lived for Rock'n'Roll. Despite the hardships he encountered along the way (including prison) he continued to FIGHT. How many other muscians, or rather people, can you honestly say that about? For a man to pursue a Dream, unflinching in the eye of harm, is something which deserves to be recognized.

This album, BBSFA, is in my opinion the sum of his struggle. Though much of GG's earlier work is not my favorite, this album had everything you could possibly want. The rythem section is incredibly tight on here, with each beat feeling as if someone was knocking the s**t out of you. The Guitar work is simply amazing, with leads you would expect from a metal album. And as to GG himself, he has what I call the "Berserkr Growl", spewing his hatred toward moralists, conformists, and those who defend them with a fury as of yet unmatched.

This album, I think, is even more relevant now (9 years later) than when it was released...just look at what is mascarading as Punk Rock these days! Green Day, Anti-Flag, NOFX...all nothing but spoiled rich kids who whine because some people choose NOT to live by their stupid, quasi-christian rules. They are not really rebellious at all. GG, on the other hand, was.

So if you want to hear REAL rock'n'roll, and you're not afraid of where it might take you, then BUY THIS ALBUM!!!....

5.0 out of 5 stars Talk about going out with a bang..., August 21, 2000

It's very fortunate that this was GG's final studio album... there was no way that he could have topped this. GG had three years worth of rage bottled up from sitting in jail on trumped up charges, and it shows in the sheer hatred of this particular set of lyrics as well as in his vocal delivery. The entire album is totally brutal from front to back, first note to last. GG's vocals on this particular album are unfortunately a far cry from the guy who was still capable of singing in tune (see the Banned In Boston CD), as by the time he recorded this album, his vocal cords were totally destroyed from years of near-constant alcohol intake and drug ingestion, but the Murder Junkies were the most solid band that he ever had behind him since the days of the Jabbers. If you are interested in brutal, honest music of any kind, and can handle the extremely explicit lyrics, if you find a copy of this album, grab it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for the whole family!, November 22, 2005

A perfect stocking-stuffer for all the loved ones on your list. Good ole GG will shock, offend, nauseate, but will never be anything less than entertaining! (Of course, having a broad definition of "entertainment" helps.) Pick up some early Jandek for the perfect one-two family-friendly punch!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jesus loves G G!, September 1, 2006
This review is from: Brutality & Bloodshed for All (Audio CD)
This masterpiece should be required listening at all Sunday morning church services. G G was a true exponent of all that lies at the heart of America - lies, greed, stupidity, hatred and violence. He should have been made president.

GG Allin's last original studio album--released a few months after his death by overdose--is a fitting end to a remarkable career. Featuring a tight, focused band (led by GG's brother, bassist Merle Allin), and excellent studio production by Don Fury, "Brutality and Bloodshed For All" is a masterpiece. The songs are direct, violent and harrowing, and easily stand up with Allin's best. If you're curious about Allin and what in God's name made him tick, this is an excellent place to begin. You may not learn everything and you may not like what you learn, but this disc is essential listening for the daring music fan.
