I used to love Bryan Cranston in Malcolm in the Middle for all his superb parenting and Danny Tanner-esque chats with his children including the always charming, wholesome Frankie Muniz. It wasn't until I watched this reenactment based on the true story of meth maker and murderer Walter White that I realized that Mr. Cranston would no longer be welcome into our home. Why a man who I assumed to be based in Jesus and his teachings would take on this role which not only reenacts the life of a troubled murdering drug manufacturer but glorifies his lifestyle is beyond me. I tuned in with my wife and two children and it was our first (and last) time. I had no idea what the premise of the show was only knowing that it starred Bryan and was called Breaking Bad which I assumed meant something along the lines of breaking evil influences that invade the home such as Dungeons and Dragons, Ozzy Osbourne music, etc. Little did I know my home was about to be invaded with such blasphemy as Bryan loudly proclaiming "I am the danger!" and "I am the one who knocks!" No Bryan, GOD is the danger and HE is the one who knocks. Will you open the door Bryan? I could tell my 3 year old and 1 year old were feeling violated and confused as to why this man would so viciously scream in their faces that he was THEIR God. I spent the rest of the night consoling them and my sobbing wife. My entire collection of Malcom in the Middle dvd's consisting of all seasons is now sitting in the dump somewhere because I just can't support this, Bryan. I pray you see what you're doing to families and how you're tarnishing your great legacy before it's too late.
