5.0 out of 5 stars Bryan White is Spectacular!
Bryan singlehandedly has brought two new fans to country music. He has a wonderful voice that includes great feeling and sincerity. I especially like Someone Else's Star and Rebecca Lynn. They reflect the sweetness and innocence of youth and young love. This CD includes many wonderful songs beautifully song by Bryan White. His star will continue to rise both in country...

1.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Enter....
Yuk. Country/pop at its most shallow. There's been a lot bad music come outta Nashville in the past decade or so. But, this takes the cake. Try Shania, or Alan Jackson, or even Garth Brooks. But, stay away from this unless you like either really sappy music or looking at the pretty boy on the cover.....

4.0 out of 5 stars Great debut album, January 16, 2001
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
A good debut album for Bryan, this shows him at his most 'country'. Now he is more country/pop, but this album is filled with some great country songs. "Rebecca Lynn" and "Someone else's star" were favourites of my 11 yr old daughter when they first came out on radio, and started her into enjoying country music. Unfortunately though, as seems to happen to young country performers, like Bryan, and LeAnn, they do tend to go more crossover as they get older. But, to each his own, and this album is certainly worth having for people who enjoy the more country style of songs by Bryan.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great CD, September 18, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
This is one of my favorite CDs of all time, and the CD that launched Bryan White's career. Songs like "Someone Else's Star" and "Rebecca Lynn" are becoming country classics. Even though it was released almost 15 years ago, these songs are timeless. Love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars great debut, December 8, 1999
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
Bryan White is by far my favortie country muscician. I absolutely loved this cd. Some of my favorite songs were "Helpless Heart," Someone Else's Star," and "This Town." He's a great artist and he's got lots of potential. It's not about a drunk redneck; it's good music with meaning.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bryan White CD, September 14, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
When I first heard of Bryan White, I was impressed, so I bought his second CD (Now and Forever). Since Amazon makes it so easy and fun to shop, I typed in his name and found more CD's that I didn't know existed. I was able to listen to samples of this CD and the other albums he has made. Boy was I missing out, so I bought the rest of them to add to my collection.
If you like update new country music, you will like Bryan White. I will be a loyal fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT DID YOU DO (TO DESERVE 5 STARS), December 23, 2004
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
This was an amazing debut album from a new young country face. The first time I saw the CD cover, it couldn't help but gave me the very notion of another good-looking, cute singer who tended to sell his look more than his talent but I was totally wrong with that! After listening to all his songs, it'd brought back some good old memories of my childhood. There were lots of joy and fun within these songs and they never failed to put a smile on my face everytime I listened to these fine tunes. His voice was great but more than that, it seemed that he sang from his heart. You could tell that from the song 'Someone Else's Star' which later became one of my all time favorite songs. The lyric was so fantastic and I think many listeners could relate to it for having similar experiences ( just count me in!) For those who may think that he's cute and that's all, please do not judge a book by its cover. Give this man a chance and give his CD a whirl, you may agree with me. I also recommend his follow up albums but I like this one the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Music, November 28, 2003
By
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
Bryan really shows his capability with songs of a variety of vocal range on this album. I had to buy it and turns out I was hooked instantlly. He selects great music and knows what his fans love. Also his Love Is The Right Place and Greatest Hits are worth getting. All his albums are packed full of awesome songs and he plays the drums and sings on the Love Is The Right Place cd, talk about multitalented!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great Cd!, November 26, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Bryan White (Audio CD)
Bryan White's debut album has some traditional music as well as modern country. "Rebecca Lynn" and "Someone Else's Star" are reason enough to add this CD to your collection. Ballads are a strong point of Bryan White's, but "Look at Me Now" is incredible as it unexpectantly changes pace.

I throughly enjoyed listening to the album. I think that all of Bryan's song touch people in different ways. My favorite song on the album is wishing on someone elses star. That song touch me the first time that I heard it. I hope that Bryan continues with much success and I wish he and his album the best.

From his huge Fan Torilogan@aol
