This Bryant 51500 conveyor take-up tensioner has a 3" take-up stroke and a maximum holding force of 700 lb. It is suitable for use on conveyor belt systems and accommodates pillow block bearings with bores from 1/2 to 1". Its spring compression system compensates for expansion or contraction of the conveyor belt due to changes in temperature, shock caused by startup loads or sudden application of heavy loads, and slack caused by belt wear. The tensioner is constructed of stainless steel for resistance to corrosion, and has a retracted length of 6.875" and an expanded length of 9.875". It has a 0.625-11 Unified National Coarse (UNC) threaded Class 2A adjusting rod that allows for precise tension adjustment. The foot mounts for the tensioner have four 0.563" bolt holes spaced 2.625" apart vertically and 3.563" horizontally for a secure mount on the conveyor. This conveyor take-up tensioner is suitable for use on conveyor belt systems in a range of industrial settings.
