5.0 out of 5 stars The most beautiful music in the world
The Dubtribe Soundsytem promote everything that is right in the electronic music scene. While so many others talk about "keeping it real" Sunshine and Moonbeam do more than talk, they create, they inspire, they put smiles on people's faces and love in their hearts. 3.0 out of 5 stars Naysayer says: not for everyone
I've heard great things about DSS, and that's obviously the case here too. A word of warning must be made for purists, however. As nice as it is to get a somewhat less than subliminal self-help seminar (YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL...) in music, I'd prefer more music and less shmoozing on the mike. I'd give a nod of respect to the bilingual inclusion si las palabras no fueran...

The Dubtribe Soundsytem promote everything that is right in the electronic music scene. While so many others talk about "keeping it real" Sunshine and Moonbeam do more than talk, they create, they inspire, they put smiles on people's faces and love in their hearts. This is especially exemplified in the track entitled "Equitoreal" (truly the most beautiful song every created). The Dubtribe Soundsystem will one day unite the masses in a true "global village".

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid album!, February 21, 2000

This is a lovely creation of some truly beautiful tracks. A clever mix of latin, house, and some killer grooves. Put this one in your CD tray, dim the lights, and look out...it'll floor you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kicking GROOVES!, January 22, 2001

I am a DJ on the weekends (house, world beat, tribal...etc) and I gotta tellya, from the first beat to the last, this is ONE HOT disc! For me the best tracks are 1, 2, 3, 7,8, and 12! This disc is just jumpin with tribal beat, house, and a very very slick mix of everything in between. The tracks merge, there is no stopping point or a starting point for each track...it just all flows together in one very long trancendental groove trip. Don't mishear this review as, "Oh its just another trippy, over produced trance beat". Its not like that at all. I first heard this disc at DanceJam in Berkeley and it blew my socks off! Its now part of my stable of music to play for my grooves. Get it! Own it! Pull the shades down if you have to just so you can dance to this, you won't be sorry about buying this disc, at all!

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to see them LIVE, March 17, 1999

Because they are comming to my home state on the 26th of March, I decided to get their newest CD to see what all my friends were talking about. Just as they described, Moonbeam and Sunshine were astonishing and I fell in love with them through the first running of the CD. In each song you can feel their love of music. The CD enlightened my soul and made me dance alone in my own living room. I highly recommend this album to all that are in love with the music or those that want to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as the live performance, March 30, 1999

The first party I've ever been to featured dubtribe sound system that night and turned me on to raving. The vibe was awesome! The new CD is a great album too. The 72 minute set will get you groovin no matter if you are in a car, house, or party. These hippies produce some excelent beats and powerful lyrics and vocals. Check dubtribe out live, their North American tour is in progress. Get the CD and keep the vibe alive. One Love

I'd give a nod of respect to the bilingual inclusion si las palabras no fueran tan tontas.[too poppy] The stink of disco is also rife, making it hard to groove with a clear conscience. This is a unique act, undoubtedly more interesting live than the average loopers, but they do not excell on any particular level.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD is so excellent - especially if you dance, July 1, 1999

This CD is wonderful. There is a lot of variety and it is unlike any house music I've ever heard. There are some unusual vocal tracks as well as some beautiful instrumentals. This CD is upbeat and easy to listen to. I wouldn't recommend it if you like "harder" house music like the Chemical Brothers, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Come and Feel the Love, June 16, 1999

This review is from: Bryant Street (Audio CD)
I have known Moonbeam and Sunshine for a while now. They were the first rave I went to. My 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend (who is also a DJ and close friend of dubtribe)took me. Since then I have worked their partys and party alone also with them. I do not know a person on this earth that could even come close to what and who these two represent to the rave community, or even the world itself. If music can ever bring peace to the world, theirs could do it.We are all brothers and sisters and from the Tribe in Denver we say: Peace Love respect and unity to all. By the cd you wont be sorry!

When I first listened to Bryant Street, I fell in love with it. It's something spiritual, your mind is embraced with positive feelings, the grooves are perfect and the voices and the percussions too. Hear it, love it, buy it and love it more.
