Even us folks "up north" love reading this book! Rick and Bubba's stories keep my husband and I sane through Michigan's never-ending winters. The CD included is the Bomb. Listening to Rick and Bubba's CD in the car makes commuting to work bareable. A must read!

Being from the South, I can relate to so much of what Rick and Bubba have to say--they've nailed it. Whether you are from the South or not, you will get a kick out of this book. It's great to read something from people who have their priorities in the correct order--God, family, country, food. Pure entertainment at it's best!

In the mold of Lewis Grizzard, Rick and Bubba deliver vignettes that reveal the southern humor that has made them famous. In these stories, you will see people you know, maybe yourself, and think back to the same experiences you've endured. Grab a glass of tea and enjoy this wonderful book.

These guys are very funny and bring a message of truth, whether they are talking about their families or their walk with God. Every type of reader can find something in here that will bless you. Stay in it!!!!!!!!!

This book is so fun, uplifts my spirit and helps me laugh through the day. The Best of Cd is a awesome extra some stories are in the book but some aren't and are so funny. Rick and Bubba are so humble and God has truly blessed them. Enjoy!

Goes from inspirational to halarious to insightful in dealing with the same subject. I just ordered 3 more copies to have on hand to give as gifts.

Look, if you want gratuitous sex and violence, go elsewhere. If you want something that is fun and one could have your kids read too, then this is it. Very much like their radio show in it's eclectic mix of topics. Yes, they're Christians, but in a way someone who isn't might actually find interesting, fun, and attractive which puts them in a very rare place in the media.

A remarkable addition is that a CD of them is included with the book so you can hear them in their radio element. It's altogether too smug to dismiss them as a Southeastern regional phenomenon when I suspect they would fly nationally if given a shot. Program managers might like not having to worry about FCC fines like Opie and Anthony or Howard Stern who have since gone to satellite on rival networks to escape the FCC liability.

I have listened to Rick and Bubba for a looooooong time, so I of course thought it was hilarious. But if you havent ever heard them, it doesnt matter. You will love this book. Just stories on life and the quirks that make it worth living. No one puts it into words like these guys.

The book is great. You will not regret buying it.

I have been addicted to the Rick and Bubba show since it first began nearly 12 years ago. I have all their best of CDs and now their book. I hope there will be many more books coming. Next, Rick and Bubba the movie?!?! It's refreshing to have good quality family radio. These guys are real and make even the most common life happenings hilarious. They talk about their everyday lives, family and faith. Thank God for them.

This book is hilariously funny and is so family friendly. Even my daughter, who is only ten, thought Larry The Lobster was funny. The stories relate to all families and I would highly recommend this book, even to those who aren't big readers. The stories are short and so funny. LOVED IT!!! Also if you like this book you have GOT to listen to them on the radio. So many more hilarious moments are documented during their radio show. LOL
