One of the best arcade conversions to the old computer,

Bubble Bobble is the perfect example of a fun 2-Player game. Team up with the other player and blow bubbles out of your mouths and at the enemies....and then pop them, to kill them!
The Commodore 64 version of this game, I gotta be honest, blew my mind. I never expected it to be as decent as the arcade game was, but it reached that level. The music is terrific, given the sound quality. And the controls are just right. The gameplay, level design, etc, remains unchanged. It is that same arcade classic you love, on a classic computer meant for playing games on cassette tapes. 2-Player, of course, makes the game totally stand out from some other games. |
