Although this game is really old (for a video game anyway0 it still ensnares you with its simplicity, and its simple but addicting gameplay. As you (or you and your friend, because it is two player) journey through a series of "caves" you blow bubbles that capture enemies, and pop them as well to advance to the next level. There are over 100 hundred levels that come in different shapes and with different enemies as well. I can honestly say that I can sit down and play this game for hours on end, and still be entertained FOREVER. Bubble Bobble definately ranks high on my list of most entertaining games to play. This one is a must get if you are afan of old school video games, it is a classic that entertaines the player very quickly and easily.

Even today, I could play this game for hours. It is sort of like a puzzle: the object is to capture all of the enemies into bubbles and then pop them before the bubble bursts and the enemy escapes. Once you have cleared all the enemies, you advance to the next level. You can play with one player or two, and you can always continue. There are extras that you can get within the level: letters to spell EXTEND, which will advance you to the next level and award an extra man, a shoe that makes the little dinosaurs run fast, candy which alters the type of bubbles you can blow, an umbrella which allows you to skip a few levels, a heart which freezes all of the enemies and allows the dinosaurs to hit them (even if they aren't in bubbles), and much more. I think that this game is one of the best games for NES, if not the best one.

the instant my friend and i started playing! i love this game, and for any old school gamer out there, you MUST get this game... if you don't already have the game, that is!

Though my nintendo gave out on me long ago, I will never forget this game. By today's standards, I am sure that it would be considered simplistic. And the graphics are nothing compared to the games of today, but this game is a prime example of how some of the simplest things in life are the most fun. Great for children of all ages, this "classic" is worth the purchase.

What more do I need to say?!? Classic NES game. Great with a second player. My sister and i Love to play it. Boring playing alone.

Like all the other reviewers said, you bubblize enemies and go pop em. Great game, especially 2 player mode. At the end you have to kill this huge bad guy. Once you pop, you can't stop. Additive and Crazy, without side effects.

Game is in good physical condition and plays just like it did in 88. Thank you for the functional product.

Bubble Bobble is a game in which you control two cute dinosaurs in a weird world. You must kill enemies by shooting bubbles at them (they end up inside the bubbles) and then pop them.

That became a huge and addicting experience in an 80s arcade game. What's even better was that you get to play with a friend and team up to progress through the game.

The NES version is no difference. The graphics, gameplay, and everything else are all the same as what you've seen or heard in the arcade game. Sure, the NES had its limits, but back then, and even today, it's a near-perfect port of a game that people will never stop playing for generations to come.

This is a great arcade style game for the NES. This is a game you need in your collection.

I brought a use copy of Bubble Bobble that i got in the mail today from BuybacksErie. I have to say for being a old game the Nes cartridge is nice and clean. thanks for not putting the price tag on the cover Art of the game like some people do. I played the game and lost track of time..lol just luv to see the games that I use to play with when I was a kid in my hands again =) Two thumbs up VERY FAST SHIPPING...thank You
