5.0 out of 5 stars Tight, progressive, visionary..., July 31, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Bubblehouse (Audio CD)
This tight EP is mad. There's nothing like hearing 'Bubblehouse' live, but the remix of 'Dracula' is worth the price of the CD. The stylings of DJ Olive twist this number into a dark tribute to Nosforatu that any jazz vampire would want to sink their teeth into. Simply groovy. Every piece on the EP is a gem though. MMW is one of the few innovators of jazz's technological awakening and make me want to say "yea, yea, yea! go, man, go!" like Kerouac. ya dig? sho 'nuff.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, April 21, 2005

I love MMW. This EP, however, was not all I had hoped. Granted, The Dracula Remix and Macha, were very good, but everything else was not up to par.

MMW rules! I caught them at Wolftrap a couple of years ago... front row! Awesome... the neat thing about their recordings are that they reflect the same intensity and verve. Give them a listen.
