I did not know Colbie before listening to her CD. I am quite positively impressed and think she is an outstanding talent. I will have the good fortune to see her perform in person next week and this CD gives me some insight as to what a great show I am in for. I highly recommend the CD! I think we will hear more from her as a rising star in the future.

Looking for a new groove,

Being a baby boomer and an aging hippy, I have been looking for new music to listen too. I really enjoyed Bubbly, and have since bought more of Colbie's music.
Her voice is melodic and strong, and her lyrics excellent. I would really like to hear more like her.

This CD was a gift for my daughter, and she LOVED it. Better than she expected. I did notice it was cheaper at Target this week, though. Oh well.

This was a rip off. I thought I was buying a whole album (my oversight) as a Christmas gift, and for the price, I should have gotten a whole album, not just two songs. Way overpriced for a single! And how disappointing to find out the gift wasn't an album.

This is the CD single of the popular radio hit. It's a catchy, laid-back song and she sings well. Unfortunately, we have here a major failure of lyrics at a crucial juncture, when the music comes to a brief stop and she sing: "I just...mmm..." and then the song carries on with another chorus. "I just, mmm"??!!! Okay, this is meant to be an informal, conversational moment, wherein words aren't needed to sum up the emotion involved. Well, it doesn't work, alas, and it falls flat. Some real words would do very nicely here, seeing as so much attention is shined on this spot in the song by the musical break. "I just... mmm" simply doesn't cut it.

$40+ for one song? Get the album. Both versions of bubbly are the same, so you are paying forty bucks to have a copy of circles with this cd.
