This issue deceptively leads the buyer into thinking "Golden Classic Collectibles" is a studio release dvd of this fine movie. It isn't!

It's a Chinese bootleg. Beware!

I purchased this Chinese bootleg of the classic film. The cover is exactly as pictured above. There are extra features. Your basically play the movie, which looks like it was taken off a vhs copy. It is not a terrible boot, and since they don't seem to want to release this officially in the U.S. this is about as good as you are going to get for now.

This is a great movie, but too bad the original studio doesn't make a good DVD rather than one from Asia.

Great movie, but the voices are not in synch with the movie . This is a cheap copy. But I still love it and the soundtrack is great.

With a family connection to the Lafitte brothers, this movie "sings" to me. Yul was at his best as the brooding pirate, sorry, privateer.
