I love the Bucilla products. The finished stocking is adorable. My only suggestion is to change the order of some of the steps. It's easier to put some of the pieces together first and then applique the finished piece to the whole.
Working around sequins to apply really small pieces to an already appliqued larger piece tends to try my patience.
Overall, this is a terrific finished product. I highly recommend it.

This was the third stocking kit I have made from Bucilla and not being an expert at embroidery I was still able to complete it with no problems. This stocking is stunning when complete, the vibrant colors make it very appealing to the eye. These kits are not for the novice though. You have to have the ability to read and follow directions step by step and even then some directions can be a bit murky, however looking at the photo and the directions together I was able to figure them out eventually and my abilities are mediocre at best. If you have the patience and time (you're going to need a lot of time, these take me months to finish usually) you'll be rewarded by an end product you can be very proud of. I've never done any other brands of stockings but after doing a few Bucilla projects the directions become a second nature to read. Out of all of the other felt stocking brands Bucilla always has the best looking designs and the most eye catching so I'm going to stick with it.

This was not only one of the easiest kits I've ever done, it was one of the cutest! The instructions are easy enough for a beginner to follow and still have it turn out looking great, there are plenty of supplies to complete the project accurately and if your are just a little bit careful you will have a lovely handcrafted item at the end that was fun to work on. Definite thumbs-up!
