I've done lots of these stockings over the years, and I think the Bucilla stocking kits are the highest quality. Thick felt, very good instructions, beautiful finished product. However, this one is VERY TIME CONSUMING! Still, very worth it in the end if you think about how long it will remain on the mantel. The finished product is great.

One word of advice: strictly follow the order in the instructions to attach each piece. Seems simple enough, but one out of sequence stitch and you have to rip out! Instructions are easy enough to follow.

This will make a beautiful stocking! Instructions are easy to follow and you will have fun, I loved it!!

The yellow trace lines bleed through the white and cream felt, showing on the finished product, regardless of how closely you match the lines. Also some of the felt is so thin it is difficult to cut and tears easily. When you have to put so many hours of work to create a lasting keepsake, the poor quality is very disheartening and disappointing.

This is the the 8th Bucilla Felt Applique stocking I have done. As usual, it turned out adorable. Everything and I mean everything you need is in the kit except scissors. They take a lot of hours to put together but my kids and grandkids all love their Christmas stockings.

A family tradition that brings great enjoyment to my grandchildren year after year.

Easy to follow directions and comes with everything needed to complete stocking

Made this stocking for my graddaughter, with help from my daughter. I made another Bucilla stocking several years ago, and the directions were much more specific than this one. Also, there are several parts (paintbrushes, candy canes, gingerbread men) that are time consuming to put together since they are so small. But the final result is just beautiful, and I'm sure she will enjoy it for many years.

I haven't put this stocking together yet--it'll be my summer project--but it looks like a really cute stocking that my granddaughter will love. It was shipped very quickly and in good shape.
