The 110FG Folding Hunter is Buck's finger grooved version of the classic 110 Folder. It measures 4-7/8 inches long closed, weighs 7.2 ounces, and comes with a black leather sheath. As with all Buck Knives, the 110 comes with Buck's 4-Ever Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

The knife feels good in your hand, and the finger grooves give you a better grip.

If you are a knife collector the Buck 110FG, like its brother the 110, is a "must have" in your collection as it is truly a piece of knife Americana.

I like all Buck stands for and hope that they continue making quality products in the USA!

I have had this knife for a number of years. Had a regular 110 and someone lifted it from my dorm room desk drawer. When I replaced the 110 I got the Finger Groove model. I have used it for every task imaginable. Last Wednesday, I went hunting with a buddy of mine. I killed a good sized buck. He pulled out some folder that appeared to be a Star Wars prop. After several attempts to impress me with his "sharp" knife, I handed him my 110. He made one cut and handed it back to me after accidently poking it through the bucks stomach. He told me he had never used such a sharp knife. The interesting thing is that I had not sharpened the knife in nearly six months. I then proceeded to cape the buck like I was using a straight razor. Very, very impressive knife. Why would anyone buy anything else?

Years ago I owned a standard 110 and bought this variant because I like the finger grip design. I wound up sending it back for an exchange. However, the 110FG is great for anyone with a S,M,or L glove size. If you have to buy an XL glove size, the 110FG is so uncomfortable it will make the knife feel unnatural in your hand. Instead of your fingers resting comfortably inside the finger grooves, they'll press against the ridges as opposed to resting solely in the troughs. BOTTOM LINE: If you have a smaller hand, the 110FG is great. If you have an XL hand, go for the standard 110. It costs less and fits an XL hand nicely.

The Buck 110FG Lockback Folding Hunter is a classic American knife that has stood the test of time and thrived even in today's competitive knife market. If you are a knife collector the Buck 110FG, like its brother the 110, is a "must have" in your collection as it is truly a piece of knife Americana. If you are looking for a rugged, dependable, and quality general purpose knife you cannot go wrong with the 110FG. I have owned mine for over 25 years and it still functions incredibly well. I also have a Buck 110 for over 25 years.

Aspects of the Buck 110FG that I like include:

+ Comes wickedly razor sharp
+ Easy to sharpen
+ Easy to maintain
+ Quality craftsmanship
+ Very versatile general purpose knife
+ Feels good in your hand
+ The locking mechanism is perfection
+ There is absolutely no play in the blade once the knife is open
+ Comes with a quality leather sheath
+ Has an unconditional lifetime warranty
+ Made in the U.S.A.

Many of today's top knife makers are constantly refining and changing the design of their knives. The Buck 110FG has been around for years with a wide circulation. This knife needs no modifications or refinements. It may lack some of the "flash" of modern knives but there is no loss of functionality or utility. Whether it is cutting rope, opening boxes, or skinning an animal this knife is up to the task and will not disappoint you with its performance. I was recently going through an old box and found this knife packed away. I got it out, cleaned it up, put some oil on it and brought it back to life within 5 minutes. It was like seeing an old friend after a long separation. I still love my Spyderco, Gerber, Cold Steel, Ontario, Becker, Kabar, and others.

My boyfriend wanted a knife so i did some research and based on many reviews, picked this one. He LOVES it. He uses it on anything and everything. I can't take it away from him. It's beautiful, durable, sharp, well weighted and fits well in the hand. All of his friends love it. This is a great gift for someone who appreciates a well made knife.
