Great Book for Beginners,

This was my first money folding book and I really liked it. I actually had bought it for a friend's daughter for her birthday. She and I sat down one day and folded many of the diagrams. I have since bought this book for several other people and always recommend it to beginners.
MODELS Buffalo Bill Badge, Bowtie, Dollar Ring, Dime-in-ring, Jumping Frog, Elephant, Peacock PROs: o Designs are well diagrammed - easy to follow and instructions are very clear (this is unusual for many origami books that leave you guessing). I've seen diagrams for some of these models elsewhere - but this book is worth buying just for the quality of the diagrams. Saves on much frustration! You don't need to know anything about origami to be able to follow this book. o I REALLY liked most of the designs - many books have a few cool designs and others that are unrecognizable or just kind of eh - The designs in this book are remarkable good. o Nice spiral bound book - this is a great feature when trying to read and fold. o Includes interesting factoids about money! Educational as well as fun! CONS: o Not alot of diagrams. GENERAL IMPRESSION: This book is great for beginners. Diagrams are clear and not full of origami jargon. Models are interesting and fun. I have been folding money for years now --- and it all started with this book. Anyone who asks me for a recommendation - this book is the first on my list. OTHER BOOKS I RECOMMEND: Guide to Hawaiian Style Money Folds. Dollar Bill Origami (for intermediate or advanced folders).

Had it as a kid--loved it then and love it now,

I got this for Christmas one year when I was in elementary school and was instantly fascinated by it. I still pull it off the shelf every now and then (I just graduated college) when I want to make a dollar-bill elephant. This book is a LOT of fun for kids and parents alike. It's something parents can give to their kids to provide them with a fun activity that's creative and useful--you'd be surprised how much a waiter appreciates a crummy tip when it's folded up into the shape of a frog that leaps. A co-worker of mine just got it for her kids who are 10, 11 and 12 years old, and they love it too. Definitely fun for all ages. Very well-written (funny and witty) with clear directions. I highly recommend it!!

this book is really fun to read and make the projects. the instructions are easy and i especially like how the author included visual hints to make sure you're doing it right along the way( "You should be able to see half of the N in ONE when you're done" ). The visual checkpoints are helpful too--when the author says "Like this:" and has a picture of the project so far. Interesting dollar-related facts are sprinkled throughout the book and it is written in an easy conversational style that is very funny.
The only downside is that there are only 7 designs.

THE BOOK WITH WONDERFUL PROJECTS IN IDIOT FRIENDLY FORMAT,

Wonderful spiral bound book with very thoughtful and painstakingdetail to dialog along with good graphics. The author didn't make it easy for herself by giving the reader a glossary of terms on the folds and expecting the reader to commit them to memory before proceeding on. You are literally walked through each project in such a way that you will get professional results the 1st time, in minutes. The best I've read so far. p.s. I like the crisp uncirculated dollar that came with it.

This book has seven cool little designss, a Buffalo Bill Badge, A Bowtie, A ring, a Dime-In ring (dime doesn't stay in very good), a jumping frog, an elephant and a peacock. They are all very simple to make and olny take about 5 minutes or so. Buy this book. I know you'll be satisfied

Several neat ideas with a wideranging complexity. The Dime-in-ring is not very sturdy, but all the others designs are quite impressive.

This book has some models that are worth the price of the book, but they are pretty simple. The ring is a classic, though this book is worthy to be in your collection.

We gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She's an artistic sort of girl...likes origami, etc so it was right up her alley. We cannot believe all of the cool things she makes with a dollar bill and she can do it anywhere. It's a great conversation starter and has made her popular with her friends! Absolutely would recommend this book!
