This is a great, small knife. You can spend a lot more on a pocket knife and not get a blade that will hold a sharp edge like this one. Yes, its a Buck made in China, which at first bothered me a bit. But dont let that stop you if you are looking for a small, sharp as a razor, high quality knife. I have Buck knives made in USA, and some made in China, and there is no difference in quality. They are great.

This knife is perfect for carrying in your pocket. Excellent materials and workmanship. Keeps an exceptional edge. I could not find a better product anywhere. And the price was fantastic compared with others that I looked at locally.

I'm sure this is a decent knife, but the listing for it clearly states that its "origin" is "USA." I was surprised and very disappointed to get it and see that it is made in China. I knew that some cheaper Buck knives are now being made in China, but ordered this one specifically because the listing let me to believe that it was made in the USA. This is very misleading, and needs to be changed before others are mislead by it.

this is an exceptional knife. i lost my other one (a small linder pocket knife i got in austria) so i got this one and am very impressed by it. the blade is as sharp as a razor and holds an edge for a really long time (have yet to sharpen it after a year of hard use). would absolutely recommend this knife.

This knife is just what I was looking for. I trust the Buck brand and use a pocket knife many times a day for all sorts of uses. The price was right and the knife was delivered in a timely manner. I'm pleased all around.

I just received my Buck Deuce, and I am already impressed by it. It weighs next to nothing, it's sharp enough to shave your arm, and it's nice and small. But that's the thing- it IS small, smaller than it looks in the picture. I expected this knife to be similar to the Buck Solo but with a second blade, and it basically is. It's just a little bit shorter, but it's also the same width so both blades have to be thinner to fit them in the handle. They're both about as thick as the blade on a Victorinox Classic model Swiss Army Knife; just be aware of that when you buy it. All in all, a great knife to carry for small cutting tasks.

There are two small issues that I have with the knife; neither are really very important. First, the knife I received had a plate that simply said "BUCK" instead of the "Classic Bolt logo" mentioned in the description and shown in the picture. I suspect that Buck produces both versions and ships them indiscriminately. If it's that important to you, try looking for the knife at a Bass Pro Shop or somewhere.

Second, you have to be careful when you sharpen this knife. The coping blade (the smaller one) has a weird grind with one side of the edge beveled at a steeper angle than the other. This makes it very sharp, but it also makes it harder to sharpen. You need to be really careful if you use a v-type kitchen knife sharpener on this knife, since it will change the angle of the grinds and make them more symmetrical (but also not as sharp). I recommend using a diamond rod and a ceramic rod for sharpening and honing.

Blade quality on this model is very poor. 1/4mm sized divots on the cutting edge of both blades near the point. Check out the Buck Lancer instead. Bought that one after this...it's made in US and higher quality.
