Awesome Little Bag!,
I am completely excited to see this bag for sale on [...]. I bought this same bag 8 years ago when I was commuting to a cabinet shop for work. I was able to fit all of my hand tools into this seemingly little bag. It's amazing how much stuff I've been able to stuff into it! I've been using it for a solid 8-years now with no let up in use. It has traveled around the country with me toting my tools. I always over stuff it and it never complains. Most of the time, it is gaping open for easy access. But if I need to close it, the heavy zipper always works.
This thing is BOMB proof. Well, not quite, but after what I've put it through, I would rate it the best darn bag I've ever seen or used. It's only problem for the manufacturer is that it's too well made. After 8 years, I don't need another one. I might just buy one now so I have a second on hand. Buy this bag, you'll love it.

I purchased this to organize small tools in the event of an emergency. After receiving I discovered it makes an excellent camera bag, if you are a camera junkie like me. I like to take several different cameras with me to planned events and this bag has the room to hold more than one and the accessories. Great bag with many different uses!

Light-weight and tough, the perfect combination,

Although a seam failed shortly after starting use of this toolbag, I think it was an anomaly because I have a GateMouth Longboy that has endured a lot of hard use and the replacement Jr. bag is holding up just fine. Both bags are light-weight but very strong and easy to carry. I do use the pockets sewn into the bags but find that a couple of inexpensive office supply store pencil boxes work well to orgainize and protect my smaller tools and supplies.
The GateMouth line of tool bags is very good quality and I recommend it highly.

Build quality of this bag is excellent and it is fairly light-weight. However, the design seems inherently flawed. If you load up the tool pockets lining the inside of the bag, the weight of these tools tends to pull the bag closed, making it difficult to reach for a tool one-handed, and about impossible to efficiently place tools back into the pouches, so I never end up bothering and pretty much use this as a cluttered tool sack. I just replaced it with a more rigid nylon tool bag.

I have used a Gatemouth Jr. at home for about 8 years as an "around the house" tool tote. Just ordered another to use at work and was surprised (disappointed) at how much lighter the new bags are made. The sides are a rip stop material where the older bag was a canvas type material. I think I'll leave the new bag at home and take the older one to work. I have no doubt the old one will last longer in my work environment.

good product, had 1 before. the only prblem was the 4inch cut in the canvas on the bottom of the bag.looked like a razor cut. could of happened in shipping.brought the bag to a local shoe repairman and had a piece of leather glued and sewd to the bottom of the bag.was going to have this done any way, because the only down fall to this product is that the bottoms wear away in about a year and ahalf and holes start to appear around the conners and at the base of the screw driver holeders.beside that as an a/c repair man the bag works well and other bags on the market don't have all the pockets and screwdiver holeders on the inside.in short iwould buy this product agian.

I really purchased this Bucket Boss GateMouth Jr. for a friend who actually carries his tools around in a canvas shopping bag. Yes, he does. But I see this GateMouth Jr almost every day so I feel confident to comment on it. First of all, it has allowed said friend to organize his tools and actually know where his tools are when he needs them. This because of the various pouches. The bag seems well made and stands up to normal abuse on a small job. I think the larger GateMouth would have been a better choice because more than one cordless tool can crowd things too much in this Jr version. Also, we both agree that an open mouth bag, or tote, would have been more convenient because of it's capacity. This GateMouth Jr has strong seams, helps you organize your tools as long as you're not carrying anything too large and it doesn't seem that any sharp object is going to poke through it - time will tell on that. It's a little small, but if that's all you require then this is a nice little item for transporting your tools.
___________________ It's a couple of months since the above post. I just want to mention that the bag itself is holding up well in it's construction, but it's developed a sag in the bottom. This is probably because an 18 volt cordless drill is often carried in the bag. My friend cut a piece of 1/8" stock to fit on the bottom of the bag and this helps. He rounded the corners of the insert and this should prevent any rips. Time will tell. Still valid comments above, but we both wish the bag had come with a rigid bottom. The description didn't mention this, so I guess we should have known. The sag presented the problems you would imagine. The insert helps. Just to pass this bit of information along. I'm using a Workforce tote which I much prefer.

Awesome tool bag. perfect size for drill and other tools that I prefer to carry. Heavy, durable canvas and no problem w/zipper as other reviewers have claimed. Only downfall is that bottom of bag will sag- used 2 pieces of cardboard wrapped in duct tape to keep from sagging.

I snagged one of these little bags a few years ago - at the time, it was included with a larger Bucket Boss bag as a promotion. When I visit the rifle range, I load the bag fairly heavily with ammunition, safety equipment, magazines, and a tripod. It's a very convenient way to keep my equipment organized, and the quality zipper and wire-rimmed opening at the top of the bag make access easy. The Bucket Boss Jr. is well built and easy to carry. If you're considering buying one, I highly recommend it!

Bag is very rugged, holds all the stuff I needed it for. The only thing I wish it had was a way to put a small lock on it, not really to secure the tools, because you can just walk away with the bag but to keep people from borrowing anything behind my back.
