5.0 out of 5 stars Slick tool back for the trunk
Fits right into the spare wheel. Out of the way but totally organized. Big enough for fix-a-flat can, big cables, and lots of tools and flashlight. Like all their stuff, the quality of this bag can't be beat. A bargain...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag!!
Nice bag to use for a "roadside emergency" kit in your trunck or behind the seat of your truck. A little overpriced, but good. I think it will last for a long time. It appears very durable.

This is a very handy bag for your jumper cables, small tools, flashlight, rag, and so on. One thing that bothers me a little bit is if you just want to get to your tools (which you will use far more often than your jumper cables), when you open the bag, the tool compartment is zipped securely, but the jumper cable area is open. So you may have to fuss with the cable a bit. It would be nice to have each half zip closed instead of just securing the cable when the entire bag is zipped up.

It's a very nice, durable, compact product and I am pleased with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another win for Bucket Boss, February 23, 2009
This review is from: Bucket Boss 06100 Cable and Tool Bag (Tools & Home Improvement)
As with all other Bucket Boss products I have owned, this one is excellent in construction. It holds a substantial amount of tools along with a set of 20' 2 gauge jumper cables. Replaced two bags in my truck, one for the cables and one for hand tools (full socket set in 1/4 and 3/8, collection of pliers and screwdrivers, etc.). I would highly recommend this product...

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality cable bag, July 5, 2008
This review is from: Bucket Boss 06100 Cable and Tool Bag (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is a quality bag and fully capable of holding long jumper cables. I purchased a 4 gauge - 16ft jumper cable set and this little bag can handle it and more.

I like this bag because it's quality is excellent and there is enough room to truly carry any length of jumper cables and even some small handtools inside.

The only negative is that its handles are kind of "cheesy" and could be made with a little more heft to them. This should not keep one from buying this product because this bag is built to last - probably take it to my grave.

Overall, I like it and think it would be a most excellent and practical gift for anyone.

I gave this a four-star rating because I just don't like the "cheesy" look and feel of the handles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bucket Boss Cable and Tool Bag, November 1, 2010

This jumper cable bag is of typical Bucket Boss quality. The bag material is thick, and the seams are well stitched. As other reviews have noted, the handles are not large; however, they are large enough considering the duty of the bag. It isn't meant for carrying large quantities of tools, such as the handles on, for example, a Bucket Boss large contractors tool bag. Yet, they are strong enough to carry a large set of jumper cables, some tools, and a full sized aluminum flashlight. They are also large enough to men's large hands.

The bag is about 13 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 4 inches. In fact, it's so roomy that I can fit my 18 foot 4AWG jumper cables and a 2D LED Brickmann flashlight in the same main compartment for the cables, with other tools, a few rags, and a pair of gloves in the remaining compartments with room to spare.

While Amazon won't allow me to post the price I paid, I feel it was a fair price, even when taking into consideration that, to my knowledge, no other company makes a similar product.

And, for those of you who lack common sense, no, it does not come with a set of jumper cables. You must purchase them separately.

Update: The bag was so large, that it wouldn't fit under my seats. If you have a 2-door pickup, then this would fit behind the seat easily. But, it was too large for the underneath of my seats in my '05 Ram 4-door.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my Prius, June 16, 2011

Fits in the storage space under the rear deck of my Prius. Perfect for the battery cables, flares, couple of tools. Most tool bags or emergency road kits are too bulky to fit. Bag constructions seems to be very good. Price was ok too. You cannot buy much for the $20 - $25 range anymore.

4.0 out of 5 stars smaller, September 4, 2009
This review is from: Bucket Boss 06100 Cable and Tool Bag (Tools & Home Improvement)
It is smaller than I imagined, looking at the pic, comparing size to the size of the cable clamp. The zipper opens it up all the way like a clam shell. It would be better if only the top opened making it easier to put the cables in and out. The center divider is attached only at the bottom and has a mesh zippered pocket, and several small pockets well suited for screwdrivers, which I don't need to keep with my jumper cables. Just like the extension cord bag, the handles are thin and floppy compared to the bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific bag, May 22, 2008

I just purchased one of these bags for myself, and liked it so much that I ordered another as a high school graduation gift for the girl next door who's taking her car to college next year. I had her initials embroidered on the outside, and filled the bag with jumper cables, fix-a-flat, hand-crank flashlight, etc. It might not seem like a very exciting graduation gift, but she liked it and will like it even more if she ever has car trouble.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great booster cable and tool bag, January 30, 2008
This review is from: Bucket Boss 06100 Cable and Tool Bag (Tools & Home Improvement)
We bought several of these bags and filled them with booster cables, various tools, gloves, LED flashlights, maps, etc. and gave them as gifts. Everyone loves them. We have received many compliments on this idea as a gift. The bags are VERY well made and the storage compartments for tools and additional items are perfect. The design was well thought out and the quality is impressive. Thank you to the designer.

Every pocket, zipper, seam, and stitch are flawless. I turned the bag inside out and couldn't find a loose thread.

Quality: this company is obviously committed to high quality since heavy fabric and good zippers are among the features I found.

Design: for battery cables, simple tools, maps, etc. this bag has been thought out and well designed for my purposes.
