5.0 out of 5 stars How Odd
How odd that there aren't any complaints about the price! The price of this excellent bucket is 2X, Double, Twice as Much as the excellent clean, new, empty buckets available from Home Depot, Lowes' or most any home improvement store.
The ones from Home Depot are even available in orange or white. Sometimes the store even has a "fill it up and get a better price...

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit Bucket Organizer
I bought this and the BucketBoss Extreme Gear 01064 Fatback Bucket Organizer. The bucket is fine, but it doesn't fit the organizer! How strange, since this is a "Bucket Boss" brand bucket.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why didn't they embed the Bucket Grip?, July 17, 2002

Seems like a logical thing to do. Bucket Boss probably had some company make the buckets for them. Why in the world wouldn't they ask the company to change the generic handle to be a nice wide one like their Bucket Grip? Then it'd be a no brainer to get this and they can even charge a buck or two more...

The ones from Home Depot are even available in orange or white. Sometimes the store even has a "fill it up and get a better price on what you fit in it" sale. I don't know if these are USA made or overseas made though. I'm not sure if that makes it worth the extra money or not.
This IS a great bucket. Shop for price though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey, it's a bucket, ya know, October 7, 2000

It's white, has a handle, holds stuff.

That pretty much sums it up. Better than trying to clean grease out of the ones you stole from the back of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

It's worth the $5.

I just paid under $4 for an identical bucket from Home Depot. Now, if the BB version had a molded durable and comfortable handle, it might be worth The $10.

Really not very much to say about a bucket.... the Bucket Boss brand organizer fits perfectly over it. Clean, strong and waiting to be used!

Last month a "special" deal was available. Buy a bucket organizer and get the bucket for free. This purchase took place at the beginning of December 05. I was received the bucket organizer a month ago. I was informed that the bucket was back-ordered approx. 1 week. Just the other day I was told that the bucket is back-ordered 3-4 months, yet the site claims that it will be shipped in a couple of business days. What's up with that? If you pay for the bucket, you get it quicker? If it's free, you need to wait till March or April?

After adding in the shipping I think you're better off doing one of two things.

Either go to some new house construction and ask for a bucket
or
buy a bucket of sheetrock primer, use it, clean it and you have a bucket.

The shipping costs double the cost of the bucket. If you purchase one from Home Depot, well never mind, just look for a used one.

This gets 3 stars because you can almost buy some primer, thinset or any number of other items for a little more cash outlay ... and you get to keep the bucket.

I walk into Lowes and My 5-gallon bucket that I paid $16.15 for is selling for $4.98. It proves there is a sucker born every minute and I was that sucker. AND GRIZZLY COURTESY OR AMAZON IS LOOKING FOR SUCKERS.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Bucket Is A Bucket Is A Bucket . . ., October 12, 2007
This review is from: Bucket Boss 10002 5-Gallon Bucket (Tools & Home Improvement)
Great bucket yet if I had known they were no different than what I can buy locally I would have saved paying the freight. Gang these with the "grip" and it might be worth it to others but if not, my advice would be to spend the amount of shipping cost somewhere else and buy locally.
