5.0 out of 5 stars A best buy knee pad
Always try to keep two sets of these pads. One for new deck work and the other for ground contact work. NEVER had a pad crack. If the strap stretches, I just take up the extra and hand stitch. They never wear out. Tried the more expensive gel pads, but after only ONE day I had to return them because of cracking.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for.
The item functions as needed. Not a bad product. The knee cups on the exterior are made of a hard plastic, not cushioned rubber like others. Can't say, "Pleased", nor "displeased". It works.

2.0 out of 5 stars These work but become uncomfortable to wear quickly, October 3, 2010

I bought these to wear while gardening because I have landscaping rocks I need to kneel down on. They do a great job at protecting my knees but if I don't tighten the straps tightly enough the pads come down eventually. If I do tighten them enough to prevent the pads from coming down the straps bunch up and pinch the back of my leg uncomfortably. I think these would have been better if they had had larger straps at the back. I'm going to use a foam kneeler from now on instead.

I'd bought cheap foam kneepads for putting vinyl flooring down throughout our house. After doing just one bedroom, my knees were shot. I found the Bucket Boss kneepads on Amazon and ordered them - good price and I liked the concept of being able to swivel. They helped protect my knees much better and definitely made it easier to move around.
