I got the Gatemouth bag as a gift from my son two years ago. The bag looks great, has lots of pockets and sure seems strong. I use it to carry emergency tools in the truck of the car. I have not overloaded the bag. I was very disappointed when the stitching on one entire end panal failed and the bag literally fell apart. I've tried to find warranty info or company contact for this item but have not been able to find anything. The company is owner by Fiskars but I find no support for the Bucket Boss line on their web site. There's a possibility that I had a bad bag. I liked the bag so much while it functioned that I am ordering a replacement. I hope this was just a fluke. The design sure seems just what I need. The company really should stand behind the product though.
Caveat Emptor I guess..

I have owned this bag for over 3 years. It is way overloaded (so much that I don't even worry about zipping it up), and has held up very well. Only two small problems (due to my overloading): the clips that hold the stap to the rings on the bag broke, and the metal bar that holds the shape of the main opening has come out of the end seam. This bag does hold a lot of "stuff." It has held up very well despite my abusing and overloading (it weighs about 80 lbs with all my stuff.) Well worth the buy!

Lots of space to accomodate stuff. Strong, lightweight and useful. But you can get a Sears version fo about half the price.

I purchased the BucketBoss Gatemouth bag at Sears several years ago because they were discontinuing them. I think it was around $20. I was immediately impressed with the design and construction of the product. When I first purchased the bag I wasn't sure what I would use it for but it didn't take long for me to find out. I've often wished I'd bought more than one because they are so rugged and useful for many things. I always wished I'd gotten one for my Uncle in Oregon. He is a bus driver in Eugene and often takes his camera's with him on his bus route. This bag would hold several cameras, lunch, spare clothing, emergency equipment, cell phone, etc., etc. and still be quite compact and easy to carry. I primarily use mine to take stuff to the boat that I don't want to leave there. I keep it loaded with my camera, boat keys, first aid supplies and personal toiletries. I add things like my wallet, cell phone, food items, tools, shoes and spare clothing that I may need. The many pockets help keep all these things organized and my phone easily slides into or clips onto one of the many pockets on the outside where I can get to it easily. Not only is this bag very functional, it is also very attractive and could proudly be taken on a plane trip as a carry on. I alsmost guarantee someone would ask where you got it before the trip was over.

I'm buying at least one more for a gift and would surely buy another for myself if I thought the one I had would ever wear out. I told my son a couple of years ago how much I loved this bag and that someday it would be his. I've used it for about 4 or 5 years and it still looks and functions like the day I bought it. I highly reccomend this bag to anyone looking for a tough and all around useful bag for carying tools or anything else.

My wife bought this for me along with some clamps. She bought it so that I had a place to store my new clamp set. I was so impressed with this bag that I now use it for my everyday tool bag. I have to carry a combination of small and large hand tools to each service call. There are so many great pockets/spaces to put my smaller hand tools and the bag is sturdy enough to carry my heavier tools inside.
I used to buy a red and black craftman tool bag every year on the christmas sale and by the next year I would have to replace it because it was so hammered. This bag not only works well as far as function , it also has held up incredible well for someone who is tough on it everyday.

I have owned about 12 toolbags in the past 5 years. My Bucket Boss junior (smaller) size was a great bag, and for a larger bag I've owned several different manufacturers. However, I wanted to consolidate my tools and went looking for a larger Bucket Boss. I am thrilled to have found this one. This bag is sturdy, with great outside pockets and a lot of inside pockets too. I jam my tools in there standing up... on the wall of the bag... like a needle nose, screwdriver, and chisel, and the bag has not ripped nor torn. The handles are a big padded to make carrying it easier too. Every other bag I've had has had some drawback - one thing that made it suboptimal. This bag truly has it all and I hope they are still making them in 20 years which is how long I think it'll be before I need to replace it. The ONLY 1 thing I'd recommend is that they rivet some small metal "feet" onto the bottom of the bag, to rise it about a quarter or half inch off the ground, so that if you set it down on wet or dirty ground, the bottom won't get wet. PS - it's large enough to hold basically every tool I need for a household job, including a 16V drill and case of drill bits.

great bag. well made. It's easy to carry cause not too wide. use it for garden tools.
could be improved with little more length to accommodate longer tools (long bag is too long).
also, softer handles and no pocket on the ends of inside.

This product is great for organizing and protecting my beading materials. Most of my tools have their own pocket so that they are easy to find and they do not damage each other. The wiring, silk and other materials easily fit inside the bag so that all are in one place, easy to find and safe.

I purchased this bag on Amazon to be used at my job about two months ago. I work as a Delivery Guy for an appliance store, and I also assemble things at the store when not on the Truck. I keep everything I need in this bag, and then some! Nut Drivers, Screw Drivers, wrenches (pipe, crescent, open/box set), Tape Measures, a small level, Pliers of all sorts, a rubber mallet and a hammer, and I even threw in a 12V Black and Decker drill along with bits and a set of power nut drivers. The scary thing is...IT CAN HOLD MORE! Bad for my tool buying addiction, but good for the on the go handy man who needs everything! Very Sturdy! Cannot recommend enough. Also have a guy working with me who had the Gatemouth Jr., andit is another great bag, albeit a little smaller.

this bag is no different than any other product that i have purchased from bucket boss. from the quality of materials used, the forthought of the inside compartments to the shoulder strap, this product is perfect for the "neat freak." i have just ordered the bucket boss vertical tool organizer.

my past acquisitions from bucket boss have been the 56 pocket 5 gal. bucket organizer, the parachute bags (3) and bib apron. the only downside to this bag is the outside pockets are too small. other than that i still rate it 5 stars.
