Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Designed for professional use, and offering considerable savings over all-leather tool belts, the Contractor's Rig by Bucket Boss is a lightweight tool belt that's still packed with features. With 30 pockets and built of Anso-Tex nylon, this belt is roomy enough and very tough. You'll really notice the considerable lack of weight--especially compared to leather models--and that's where this belt wins most of its converts, by pleasing guys who are tired their tool belt's dragging them down. The Contractor's Rig also includes foam-padded pockets; a padded, adjustable belt that fits waists 28 to 52 inches wide; a cat's paw sleeve; padded hammer sleeve; a special tape measure pocket; and generous nail and screw storage. Overall, it's a solid choice. --Jonathon Tudor

From the Manufacturer

Known as the John Wayne model, this rig will put a saunter in your step when you strap it on. Fully padded to hold its shape, the contractor's rig has mammoth-size bags that feel comfortable against your legs. It features three nail pouches, an angle square pocket, a padded hammer sleeve, a hammer holder, multiple hand-tool pockets, and a padded belt with a rigid spine to prevent crushing. It will keep all your necessities close at hand. Riveted and bar-tacked at all stress points, the Anso-tex nylon fabric can really take a beating. The buckle adjusts from both sides and fits waists 28 to 52 inches.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Pro Quality, December 14, 1999

I thought I would get a tough, pro-quality belt at a bargain rate. Not quite. Right away, the buckle won't hold it's adjustment. I'm constantly struggling with it. The pockets are not holding their shape after 16 months of full time use. My 12V cordless sags in the holster, etc. I don't like how it feels much in general, too saggy. It does the job however and is certainly the best availible for the price. Recommended for ocasional use.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bucket Boss Flops!, February 4, 2000
This review is from: Bucket Boss Brand 55034 Contractors Rig (Tools & Home Improvement)
I am a carpenter who has owned this toolbelt for less than a year. It started out on a high note but in the last six months it's gone down hill. I was constantly adjusting the belt, and just last week the plastic buckle broke in our Canadian cold. Although it does have alot of storage space I wouldn't recommend it for those who rely on their tools to perform on a daly basis. (Great for the average home owner.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Functionality and Toughness at a Great Price!, November 10, 1999

This tool belt is a great value. It's lightweight, comfortable and durable. The same quality belts usually cost 2 x as much!
