This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
this is the working mans best friend,it has an adjustable belt, sizes 30-48(roughly), a carry handle,8 interior pockets, and 1 large center,7 exterior pockets, and 1 for any cellular phone, has an ink pen holder(external)has a built-in electrical tape holder(metal chain),has a front clip for a tape measure, also comes with a external mounted metal hook, for holding on to whatever you might need it to.I purchased this just by seeing it ,and not by reading any reviews, but it was well worth the money, and appears that it will last for many years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miss Sparky and Hubby love this pouch., March 1, 2006
This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
I'm an amateur "electrician" (trained by my husband who is an unofficial pro), but with this pouch swingin' from my hip I'm like a wiring machine! (Ok, I admit it can still be slow-going with 12-2 wire in our cold climate). This pouch has plenty of slots for screwdrivers, wire-strippers, etc., with a nice blank space in the middle where you can carry supplies such as receptacles, covers and wire-nuts. The belt is easy to adjust, so it switches nicely from person to person, and is very heavy-duty--I like to put my cordless drill holster on it too so I can keep that at my fingertips as well. This wasn't something I would have thought I needed but now I am so glad my husband bought it for me, and he loves to use it too!

Love this "Sparky" Pouch. I am an electrician at a power plant and this pouch helps me keep my tools organized and always readily available. The material is very durable and strong and has held up in some rough environments.

Great tool bag! I'm really enjoying it, fixing things around the house. 2 things you need to know about: with your tape measure attached to the bag's metal holder clip, anytime you put the bag down, the tape measure gets knocked off - poor design. I have ended up clipping my tape measure to the top of the pocket above that. Also, be forewarned that this baby can hold a lot of stuff, and when you wear it while it's loaded, it can be pretty bulky and heavy. The belt is super heavy duty, and overall this is a great tool bag. It's well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag for Cable Techs, April 26, 2009
This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
I've used this bag for almost 3 years. It has held up beyond my expectations. There are plenty of big and small holders for all sizes of tools. We could always use more but this does a great job. The large center can hold small bags of fastners and is Very light weight (without tools). I have NOTHING bad to say about this bag only that I've had MANY other techs ask about where they can get this GREAT pouch. Since I climb utility belts also I use my safty belt with large D rings as the belt. This bag allowed the D rings to fit through easily. The carrying handle has also been quite useful. Bottom Line this bag is Great for any Cable installer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tool Pouch for Satellite or Alarm Techs, August 23, 2008

This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
I have been using this pouch for 10 months now as a Satellite TV Installer. It has maintained its shape and is just the right size for smaller hand tools like wire cutters, stripers, screwdrivers, etc. The handle on top of the pouch is great for grabbing to get the belt around your waist and it doesn't get in the way. The material is tough and has stood up to alot of abuse in the back of the van and around the job. The included belt is just a bonus and I would have bought the pouch without it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sparky Pouch, December 2, 2007
This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
Good pouch, makes for good use of space and organization of tools. Wish it came with the shoulder strap as d-rings are provided for one, but the pouch only came with the belt not the strap as advertised.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bucket Boss Sparky, October 17, 2007

The Sparky manages to be strong and sturdy without cutting into my waist like a leather tool pouch. I really like the square bottom that allows the pouch to function as a "mini-tool-bucket" when I need that. The large capacity will require me to resist the temptation to load myself down with tools I don't need for a particular job, but it's nice to have room for a package of connectors or fasteners if I will be using a lot of them, or a meter. Nice product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Been through many bags....this is the one., February 6, 2012

This review is from: BucketBoss Extreme Gear 54017 Sparky Electricians Utility Pouch with Belt (Tools & Home Improvement)
I am a construction electrician. I work off ladders and lifts quite a bit and I also do a lot of dirt work in the summers. So I work in a diverse construction environment. Let me tell you, this is the ONE.

Firstly, it has a comfortable handle and the handle sticks out far so it's easy to grab.

Secondly, I can set the bag down and it stays upright. Not many sidebags can do this. I won't wear my bag if I don't have to. Being able to set my bag down wherever I am working and have all my tools point UP is a must have.

Thirdly, it is comfortable to wear. It's not a harness type bag so you don't want to over fill it with weight, but it is comfortable when you fill it with the essential electrician tools.

Fourthly, there is a descent sized pouch in the middle that you can fill up with wire nuts, hardware, connectors....etc I actually bought an additional bucketboss clip-on pouch that I clip on to the side of this bag so I can fill it up with material.

Lastly, my favorite part and I recommend anyone who owns this bag do this. There are two rings on the back side of the bag just below the handle. They are heavy duty and designed to easily hold a full bag. Buy a "Bigg Lugg Power Tool Holder Belt Hook" and clip it onto one of the rings. Now your bag has a hook! I do this to clip my bag up on the rails of my lift or on a door handle. This is a lifesaver and keeps my bag up high so I can grab them without bending over.

Very happy with this tool pouch. Seems to be made very well, holds lots of tools, and stands up on it's own. Carrying handle is very handy as well. I wish it had a hammer holder, but I just added a hammer holster to the belt to solve that problem.
