5.0 out of 5 stars Real Monroe tradition Bluegrass, December 8, 2002

This review is from: BucketBoy Bluegrass Band Live at Angel City (Audio CD)
I have been a Bluegrass fan for 55 years and have heard them all. The Bucket Boys (I assume the name is from Mule Skinner Blues - set that bucket down) are pure BlueGrass and deliver the music as it was meant for seasoned ears. Best wishes and good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars BucketBoy is a Tremendous Talent, February 19, 2002
This review is from: BucketBoy Bluegrass Band Live at Angel City (Audio CD)
The BucketBoy Band is the treasure of Chicago. While most Northerners are unaware of the beauty of bluegrass, BucketBoy's presentation of the art is clean and true. Even Kentucky ears would certainly welcome this rich tone and rhythm. The album is priced to fly off of the shelves and well it should. I find the BucketBoy group a refreshing wind on a hot day.
